1. Remove the rear oil seal housing bolts (517).

2. Remove the housing (518) and gasket (519).

3. Remove the rear oil seal (141).

OIL PUMP, SCREEN AND CRANKSHAFT OIL DEFLECTOR REMOVAL

1. Remove the oil pump screen bolt (405) and nuts (404).

2. Remove the oil pump screen (407) with O-ring seal (406).

3. Remove the O-ring seal from the pump screen.

4. Discard the O-ring seal.

5. Remove the remaining crankshaft oil deflector nuts.

6. Remove the crankshaft oil deflector.

7. Remove the oil pump bolts (411).

8. Remove the oil pump (413).

CAMSHAFT POSITION ACTUATOR AND SOLENOID VALVE REMOVAL

Tools Required

IMPORTANT: Do not allow dirt or debris to enter the oil pump assembly.

Cap ends, as necessary.
