IPDM E/R
A/C relay is integrated in IPDM E/R. IPDM E/R operates A/C relay when
receiving A/C compressor request signal from ECM via CAN communica-
tion line.
Refer to
PCS-5, "Component Parts Location"
for detailed installation loca-
tion.
ECM
ECM, when receiving A/C ON signal and blower fan ON signal from BCM,
transmits A/C compressor request signal to IPDM E/R via CAN communi-
cation according to status of the engine and refrigerant pressure.
ECM transmits engine coolant temperature signal to combination meter via
CAN communication line.
Refer to
EC-28, "ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM : Component Parts Loca-
(MR20DD engine models),
EC-440, "Component Parts Location"
(QR25DE engine models) or
EC-812, "Component Parts Location"
engine models) for detailed installation location.
