1.

Remove detent spring from transmission case.

2.

Drive out instruction plate retaining pin.

Drive and pull out parking rod plate retaining pin.

4.

Remove parking rod plate from instruction shaft.

5.

Draw out parking rod from transmission case.

6.

Pull out instruction shaft retaining pin.

7.

Remove instruction shaft and instruction plate from transmission case.

8.

Remove instruction shaft oil seal.

INSPECTION

●

Check component parts for wear or damage. Replace if necessary.

INSTALLATION

1.

Install instruction shaft oil seal.

●

Apply ATF to outer surface of oil seal.

2.

Install instruction shaft and instruction plate.

3.

Align groove of instruction shaft and hole of transmission case.

4.

Install instruction shaft retaining pin.

5.

Install parking rod to parking rod plate.

6.

Set parking rod assembly onto instruction shaft.

7.

Drive instruction plate retaining pin and parking rod plate retaining
pin.

●

Both ends of pin should protrude.

8.

Install detent spring.

DISASSEMBLY

1.

Remove seal rings.

2.

Loosen bolts in a crisscross pattern and remove oil pump cover.

3.

Remove inner and outer gear from oil pump housing.
