Removal and Installation

REMOVAL
CAUTION:
When removing and installing, use shop cloths to protect parts from damage.
1. Remove the battery negative terminal.
2. Remove the instrument driver lower panel. Refer to
IP-12, "Removal and Installation"
.
3. Remove the screw (A).
4. Remove automatic drive positioner control unit (1) from bracket
and disconnect electrical connectors.
INSTALLATION
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
CAUTION:
• Clamp the harness in position.
NOTE:
After installing the automatic drive positioner control unit, perform additional service when disconnecting bat-
tery negative terminal. Refer to
ADP-9, "Special Repair Requirement"
