< COMPONENT DIAGNOSIS >
[AUTO AIR CONDITIONER (W/NAVI)]
MAGNET CLUTCH
1.
Turn ignition switch OFF.
2.
Disconnect A/C compressor connector.
3.
Start the engine.
4.
Press AUTO switch and A/C switch ON.
5.
Check voltage between A/C compressor harness connector F3
terminal 1 and ground.
Is the inspection result normal
YES
>> Replace A/C compressor. Refer to XX.
NO
>>
Check 10A fuse (No. 42), located in the IPDM ER.
• If fuse is OK, GO TO 4.
• If fuse is NG, replace fuse and check harness for short circuit. Repair or replace if necessary.
4.
CHECK MAGNET CLUTCH
Check for operation sound when applying battery voltage direct cur-
rent to terminal.
Is the inspection result normal?
OK
>> GO TO 5.
NO
>> Replace A/C compressor. Refer to XX.
5.
CHECK CIRCUIT CONTINUITY BETWEEN IPDM E/R AND COMPRESSOR
1.
Turn ignition switch OFF.
2.
Disconnect IPDM E/R connector.
3.
Check continuity between A/C compressor harness connector
F3 (A) terminal 1 and IPDM E/R harness connector E43 (B) ter-
minal 11.
Is the inspection result normal
YES
>> Replace IPDM E/R. Refer to XX.
NO
>> Repair harness or connector.
6.
CHECK BCM INPUT (A/C COMPRESSOR ON) SIGNAL
Check A/C compressor ON/OFF signal. Refer to
HAC-212, "CONSULT-III Function (BCM)"
Is the inspection result normal
YES
>> GO TO 9.
NO
>> GO TO 7.
7.
CHECK CIRCUIT CONTINUITY BETWEEN FRONT AIR CONTROL AND BCM.

Disconnect front air control connector and BCM connector.
3.
Check continuity between front air control harness connector
M85 (A) terminal 23 and BCM harness connector M19 (B) termi-
nal 61.
4.
Check continuity between front air control harness connector
M85 (A) terminal 23 and ground.
Is the inspection result normal
YES
>> GO TO 8.
NO
>> Repair harness or connector.
8.
CHECK VOLTAGE FOR FRONT AIR CONTROL (A/C COMPRESSOR ON SIGNAL)
1.
Reconnect front air control connector and BCM connector.
2.
Turn ignition switch ON.
3.
Confirm A/C compressor ON signal between front air control
harness connector M85 terminal 23 and ground using oscillo-
scope.
Is the inspection result normal
YES
>> GO TO 9.
NO
>> Replace front air control. Refer to XXXX.
9.
CHECK REFRIGERANT PRESSURE SENSOR
WITH CONSULT-III
1.
Start the engine.
2.
Check the voltage of refrigerant pressure sensor.

>> GO TO 13.
NO
>> GO TO 11.
11.
CHECK CIRCUIT CONTINUITY BETWEEN FRONT AIR CONTROL AND BCM
1.
Turn ignition switch OFF.
2.
Disconnect front air control connector and BCM connector.
3.
Check continuity between front air control harness connector
M85 (A) terminal 22 and BCM harness connector M19 (B) termi-
nal 61.
4.
Check continuity between front air control harness connector
M85 (A) terminal 22 and ground.
Is the inspection result normal
YES
>> GO TO 12.
NO
>> Repair harness or connector.

CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION
Check CAN communication. Refer to
LAN-22, "Trouble Diagnosis Flow Chart"

>> INSPECTION END

>> Repair or replace malfunction part(s).
