Notes To Typical Diagnostic Reference Value Charts (Gasoline/CNG)
An attempt to provide as much information as possible; the scan tool may not display all input and output
signals for each vehicle. Reference values may vary +/- 20% depending on operating conditions and other
factors. For tests involving switches, the valves will be switch OFF or ON.

The throttle is controlled by an accelerator cable attached to the accelerator pedal and shaft assembly. The
accelerator pedal and shaft should travel smoothly from the idle position to the wide open throttle position.
Hesitation or binding should not be experienced at any portion of the accelerator pedal and shaft travel.
