5. Insert a flat-bladed screwdriver into the heated seat module bracket and release the locking tab.

6. Remove heated seat module.

Installation

1. Install the heated seat module in the mounting bracket. Verify that the locking tab is correctly seated.

WARNING:

To reduce the risk of serious injury, read and follow all warnings,
cautions and notes at the beginning of the removal procedure.

2. Connect the heated seat module electrical connector.

3. Install the front seat. Refer to FRONT SEAT-WITH SEAT INTEGRATED RESTRAINTS (SIR) .

4. Reactivate the supplemental restraint system (SRS) deactivation/reactivation procedure. Refer to

SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM (SRS) DEACTIVATION AND REACTIVATION .

WARNING:

To reduce the risk of serious personal injury, read and follow all
warnings, cautions, notes and manuals in the supplemental
restraint system (SRS) deactivation/reactivation procedure.

WARNING:

The restraint system diagnostic tool is for restraint system service
only. Remove from the vehicle prior to road use. Failure to remove
could result in injury and possible violation of vehicle safety
standards.
