Rear Suspension - Rear Stabilizer Bar Link
Removal and Installation
Removal
1. Raise and support the vehicle. For additional information, refer to
Section
100-02 Jacking and Lifting
.
2. Detach the stabilizer bar link.
3. Remove the stabilizer bar link.
Installation
• NOTE: The final tightening of the rear suspension components must be carried out with the vehicle on its wheels.
1.
CAUTION: Make sure rubber boot does not twist while tightening.
Tighten to 50 Nm.
2. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
Tighten to 35 Nm.

Rear Suspension - Upper Arm
Removal and Installation
Removal
1. Remove the rear wheel and tire.
For additional information, refer to:
Wheel and Tire
(204-04 Wheels and
Tires, Removal and Installation).
2. Detach the upper arm.
3. Remove the upper arm.
Installation
• NOTE: The final tightening of the rear suspension components must be carried out with the vehicle on its wheels.
1. Install the upper arm.
2. Attach the upper arm.
3. Install the wheel and tire assembly.
For additional information, refer to:

Tires, Removal and Installation).
4. Tighten to 124 Nm.
5. Tighten to 124 Nm.
6. Check the wheel alignment and adjust as necessary.

Removal
All vehicles
1. Remove the rear brake disc.

Removal and Installation).
Vehicles with 2.5L or 3.0L engine
2. Remove and discard the rear halfshaft retaining nut.
3. Remove the wheel hub retaining bolts.
