Engine auxiliary exhausts system

1). The below engine parts
- Cylinder head bolts
- Master bearing cap bolts
- Connecting rod cap nuts
2). Do not carry the final tighten at the requested torque

3). These parts torque requestion are applied for the pre-tightening.
4). Make sure the thread and base are clean and with engine oil smeared.

II. Front oxygen sensor

(I) Disassembly

1. Open the engine hood.
2. Disconnect the cathode wire of battery
3. Dismantle the front oxygen sensor.

1). Disconnect the front oxygen sensor wires connector

2). Screw off the front oxygen sensor.

(II) Installation

1. Install the front oxygen sensor

1). Tighten the front oxygen sensor

Tighten torque: (35±5) N·m

2). Connect the front oxygen sensor wires connector.

2. Connect the cathode wires of the battery
3. Close the engine hood.

III. Rear oxygen sensor

(I) Disassembly

1. Open the engine hood
2. Disconnect the cathode wires of battery.
3. Dismantle the rear oxygen sensor.

1). Disconnect the rear oxygen sensor wires connector.

2). Hoist up the car.

3). Dismantle the rear oxygen sensor.

4). Take out the rear oxygen sensor.

(II) Check

1. Check the heating resistance of rear oxygen sensor

1). Turn the ignition switch to OFF gear and pull

out the wires connector of oxygen sensor, then

use the Ohm gear of DMM to measure the

resistance of terminal C and D , the resistance

value should be around 9.6Ω.

2). Turn on the ignition switch and use the voltage

gear of DMM to measure the voltage of heating

power, it should be 12V.

3). Check the wires on sensor were well connected

and if it had open circuit or short circuit.

(III) Installation

1. Install the rear oxygen sensor

1). Install and tighten the rear oxygen sensor.

2). Lower down the car.

3). Connect the wires connector of rear
oxygen sensor.

2. Connect the cathode wires of battery.
3. Close the engine hood.

IV. Carbon tank and its bracket

(I.) Disassembly

1. Open the engine hood.
2. Disconnect the cathode wire of battery.
3. Release the pressure of fuel system.
4. Dismantle the carbon tank and its bracket.

1). Disconnect the fuel tank tube I
from carbon tank.

2). Disconnect the fuel tank tube III from
carbon tank.

3). Screw off the 2 fixed bolts of carbon
tank bracket and the left longeron of
engine compartment.

4). Take down carbon tank and its bracket.

(II) Check

1. Check the carbon tank

1). Visual check if the carbon tank has crack or damage.
2). Check the sealingness and flowability of carbon tank according to the relative materials.

(III) Installation

1. Install carbon tank and its bracket

1). Install carbon tank and its bracket onto the left

longeron of engine compartment and tighten
the 2 bolts.

2). Connect carbon tank
and fuel tank tube III.

30. Connect carbon tank
and fuel tank tube I.

2. Connect the cathode wires
of battery.
3. Close the engine hood.

V. Carbon tank solenoid valve connection tube

(I) Disassembly

1. Close the engine hood.
2. Disconnect the cathode wires of battery.
3. Dismantle ait filter assy.
4. Dismantle the connection tube of carbon tank solenoid valve.

1). Disconnect the tube from carbon tank solenoid valve.

2). Disconnect the tube of carbon tank
solenoid valve with air inlet manifold.
3). Take down the connection tube of
carbon tank solenoid valve.

(II) Installation

1. Install the connection tube of carbon tank solenoid valve

1). Connect the tube with carbon tank solenoid valve.

2). Connect the tube of carbon tank solenoid valve with air inlet manifold.

2. Install air filter assy
3. Connect the cathode wire of battery
4. Close the engine hood.

VI、Carbon Canister Electromagnetic Valve

(I)Removal

1. Open engine compartment cover

2. Disconnect battery negative electrode Refer to “Disconnection and connection of battery electrode”

3. Remove carbon canister electromagnetic valve

1). Disconnect wiring harness connector of carbon canister
electromagnetic valve;

2). Disconnect connection of connecting hose of carbon canister
electromagnetic valve and carbon canister electromagnetic valve;

3). Disconnect connection of carbon canister electromagnetic valve
and fuel tank pipe Ⅲ;

4). Take down carbon canister electromagnetic valve from bracket
of carbon canister electromagnetic valve;

(II)Installation

1. Install carbon canister electromagnetic valve

1). Install carbon canister electromagnetic valve to bracket of
carbon canister electromagnetic valve;

2). Connect connecting hose of carbon canister electromagnetic
valve and carbon canister electromagnetic valve;

3). Connect carbon canister electromagnetic valve and fuel tank
pipe Ⅲ;

4). Connect wiring harness connector of carbon canister
electromagnetic valve;

VII、PCV Valve

(I)Removal

1. Open engine compartment cover

2. Disconnect battery negative electrode Refer to “Disconnection and connection of battery electrode”

3. Remove PCV valve

1). Disconnect connection of connecting hose of PCV valve and
PCV valve;

2). Screw out PCV valve from cylinder cover hood;

(II)Check

1. Check PCV valve

1). Normal valve will make sibilant noise when there is airflow
passing by. When put finger to valve entrance, you will feel very
strong vacuum pressure;

(III)Installation

1. Install PCV valve

1). Install PCV valve to cylinder cover hood;

2). Connect connecting hose of PCV valve and PCV valve;

2. Connect battery negative electrode

3. Close engine compartment cover
