Tipping, access to row 3

Removing a seat

It is not necessary to fold the backrest
(table position) to tip the bench seat for
access to row 3.

F using the handle, release the rear feet then

tip the seat forward.

F to return the seat, tip the bench towards

the rear until the feet lock into place.

If removing and storing a bench seat
out of the vehicle, ensure that it is
placed in a clean area, so as to avoid
introducing any foreign bodies into the
mechanisms.

the bench seats are not designed for
any use other than in the vehicle. they
have mechanisms and functions that
could be damaged if used incorrectly or
are dropped.

F If your vehicle has the facility, pull the

control and raise the backrest (from the
rear, lower the lever).

Check that the seat has correctly
engaged in its anchorages on the floor
when returned to the seating position.

Ensure that no object, or the feet of a
passenger seated at the rear, could
obstruct the anchorage points or prevent
the correct latching of the assembly.

F Check that there is nothing obstructing the

anchorages or which would prevent the
correct engagement of the feet.

Refitting a seat

F Lock the front feet using the handles.
F tip the seat toward the rear until the rear

feet lock into place.

Be aware of the feet of any passengers
while tipping the seat.

F Engage the front feet in the anchorages in

the floor (as shown above).

Fixed rear seat and bench seat

the seat has a backrest that may be fixed or
folding (table position).
the bench seat has a one-piece backrest that
may be fixed or foldable (table position).

F to raise a head restraint, pull it up until it

engages in its notches.

F to remove the head restraint, press the

lug A and pull the head restraint upward.

F to put it back in place, engage the head

restraint rods in the apertures keeping
them in line with the seat backrest.

F to lower it, press on the lug A and on the

head restraint at the same time.

Angled head restraints

F Put the head restraints into the low position.

Folding the backrest to the
table position

F From the front, raise the handle to release

the backrest.

F From the rear, lower the lever to release

the backrest.

row 2 or from the rear in row 3.

Precautions for the
seats and bench
seats

Following the various handling operations:
-

do not remove a head restraint without
storing it and fixing it to a support,

-

check that the seat belts are always
accessible to the passenger and easy to
fasten,

-

a passenger must not take their seat
without adjusting the seat's head restraint
correctly and adjusting and fastening the
seat belt.

Loading luggage or objects
behind the row 3 seat and
bench seat

If you want to load luggage onto the backrests
in row 3 while in the table position, the
backrests in row 2 must also be in the table
position.

Labels

When driving, carrying a passenger is
prohibited:
-

in row 3 if the backrest in front (row 2) is in
the table position.

-

in row 3 if the seat/bench in front (row 2) is
in the fully folded position.

-

in rows 2 and 3, in the outer right seat, if
the bench is in the fully folded position,

-

on the centre seat if the outer right seat is
in the fully folded position.

Fixed crew cab

this comprises a bench seat, seat belts, storage spaces (depending on equipment) and side
windows.
It is separated from the loading area by a high-strength partition offering comfort and safety.

Rear bench seat

Storage boxes

If fitted to your vehicle, a storage box is
provided at the front, under the bench seat.

this ergonomic bench seats three people.
the two outer seats are equipped with ISoFIX
mountings.

Storage boxes below the

For more information on the ISOFIX
mountings

If fitted to your vehicle, they are located below
the centre and outer left seat.
For access to them from the cab, tip the seat
cushion in question forward.

In the rear, the loading area is intended
for carrying goods only.
You are advised to place heavy goods
or objects as far forward as possible in
the loading area (towards the cab) and
secure them by means of straps using
the stowing rings on the floor.
the rear seat belt frames are not
intended for securing transported
articles.

extracted* from the rear, allowing long objects
to be housed under the bench seat.

Mats

When fitting the mats for the first time, on the
driver's side use only the fixings provided in the
wallet attached.

Refitting

to avoid any risk of jamming of the
pedals:
-

only use mats which are suited to
the fixings already present in the
vehicle; these fixings must be used,

-

never fit one mat on top of another.

the use of mats not approved by
PEugEot may interfere with access to
the pedals and hinder the operation of
the cruise control / speed limiter.
the mats approved by PEugEot have
two fixings located below the seat.

to remove the mat on the driver's side:
F move the seat as far back as possible,
F unclip the fixings,
F remove the mat.

to refit the mat on the driver's side:
F position the mat correctly,
F refit the fixings by pressing,
F check that the mat is secured correctly.

Sun visor

the sun visors provide protection from the
sun from the front or the side and have an
illuminated vanity mirror (depending on
version).
A pocket is provided on the driver's sun visor to
hold toll tickets, receipts, ...

F With the ignition on, raise the concealing

flap; the mirror is illuminated automatically.

Front door pockets

Liquids carried in an open vessel (a cup
or mug) could be spilt, presenting a risk
of damage on contact with the controls
in the dashboard and centre console.

It houses the passenger front airbag
deactivation switch and can hold a water bottle,
the vehicle's handbook pack...

Storage compartment

It can hold a water bottle, the vehicle's
handbook pack...

F to open the storage compartment, press

the left hand end of the control and guide
the lid to its open position notch.

If it is so equipped, it is illuminated when the lid
is opened.

With air conditioning, it gives access
to the ventilation nozzle, delivering the
same air-conditioned air as the vents
in the passenger compartment.

While driving, keep the glove boxes
closed. otherwise there is a risk of
injury in the event of an accident or
sudden braking.

Upper storage compartment

this is located in the dashboard, behind the
steering wheel.

Press the control to open the lid (depending on
version) then guide it to its fully open position.
to close, guide the lid then press the centre
gently.
Any liquid which could spill risks causing an
electrical short circuit and therefore a potential
fire.

12 V accessory socket(s)
(depending on version)

F to connect a 12 V accessory (maximum

power: 120 Watts), lift the cover and
connect a suitable adaptor.

observe the maximum power rating to
avoid damaging your accessory.

the connection of an electrical device
not approved by PEugEot, such as a
uSB charger, may adversely affect the
operation of vehicle electrical systems,
causing faults such as poor telephone
reception or interference with displays
in the screens.

Auxiliary socket

It permits the connection of a portable device
so that you can listen to your music files via the
vehicle's speakers.
the management of the files is done using your
portable device.

Lashing rings

Loading area

fittings

use the lashing rings on the rear floor to secure
your loads.
As a safety precaution in case of sharp braking,
you are advised to place heavy objects as far
forwards towards the cab as possible.
You are advised to immobilise the load by
securing it firmly using the lashing rings on the
floor.

Depending on the vehicle's equipment, the
various fittings below are located in the loading
area.

USB port

It allows the connection of a portable device,
such as a digital audio player of the iPod

®

type

or a uSB memory stick.
It reads the audio files which are transmitted to
your audio system and played via the vehicle's
speakers.
You can manage these files using the steering
mounted controls or the audio system.

When a uSB port is used, the portable
device charges automatically.
While charging, a message is displayed
if the current consumption of the
portable device exceeds the power
rating of the port.

Load retainer

on the floor, behind the front seats, a
horizontal partition protects the driver and front
passengers against the risk of load movement.
Panel or glazed partitions separate the loading
area from the cab.

Depending on the vehicle's equipment, the
various fittings below are located in the seating
area.

this allows the use of the entire load space, up
to the roof:
-

behind the front seats in row 1, when the
rear seats (and bench seats) in rows 2 and
3 are folded or removed.

-

behind the rear seats and bench seats
in row 2, when the rear seats (and bench
seats) in row 3 are folded or removed.

Upper fixings

Lower fixings (behind row 1)

If your vehicle has fixed one-piece bench seats
or seats and bench seats:

F unclip the anchorage cover in the roof on

each side.

F on each side in row 2, insert the fixings in

the floor anchorages (as shown above).

Fit the net

unclip the upper fixing covers and secure the
lower fixings (as previously described).
F Fold (table position) the seats and bench

seats in rows 2 and 3 (according to
equipment).

F unroll the high load retaining net.
F Position the upper net fixings in the

corresponding anchorages in the roof (first
one side, then the other).

F Fully extend the straps.
F on each side, attach the bottom fixings of

the net to the lower anchorages (behind
row 1) or in the stowing rings (behind
row 2).

F Pull on the straps to stretch the net.
F Check that the net is attached securely and

properly extended.

Never use the ISoFIX ring intended
for fixing the upper strap of a child seat
with top tether.

If fitted to your vehicle, the side windows
in row 2 can be opened.

Windows in row 2

For more information on the Child
lock for rear windows
, refer to the
corresponding section.

While driving, the window must be closed or
secured at one of the notches.
F Squeeze the two controls then move the

window sideways.

F on each side in row 2, insert the fixings in the

floor anchorages then turn them a quarter turn
to lock them in place (as shown above).

Place them as close as possible to the end of
the rail.

If your vehicle has seats and bench seats or
individual seats on rails:

Lower fixings (behind row 2)

F use the stowing rings.

Temperature

Air flow

F turn the knob to obtain

the desired air flow.

If you place the air flow control at
the minimum position (off), the
temperature in the vehicle will no longer
be maintained. However, a slight flow of
air can still be felt due to the movement
of the vehicle.

Heating / Ventilation

F turn the knob from "LO"

(cold) to "HI" (hot) to
adjust the temperature to
your wishes.

Air distribution

Windscreen and side windows.

Footwells.

Centre and side air vents.

the air distribution can be modulated by
pressing additional buttons.

Air intake / Air recirculation

the intake of exterior air avoids misting of the
windscreen and side windows.
the recirculation of interior air insulates the
passenger compartment from exterior odours
and fumes.

Return to exterior air intake as soon as
possible to avoid deterioration of the air
quality and the formation of mist.

this allows hot or cold air to be
delivered quickly when required.

F Press this button to recirculate

the interior air; its indicator lamp
comes on.

F Press this button again to allow

exterior air into the passenger
compartment; its indicator lamp
goes off.

the air conditioning system only operates with the engine running.

Manual air conditioning

Temperature

F turn the knob from "LO"

(cold) to "HI" (hot) to
adjust the temperature to
your requirements.

Air flow

F turn the knob to obtain a

comfortable air flow.

If you put the air flow control in the
minimum position (system off), the
temperature is no longer controlled.
However, a slight flow of air can still be
felt, resulting from the movement of the
vehicle.

Windscreen and side windows.

the air distribution can be adapted by adding
