F Lift the cover B, using a screwdriver

protected by a cloth.

F Slacken fixing screw C until the head of the

screw touches the trim.

F Remove the bumper retaining clips, using a

screwdriver.

F Carefully lift the bumper.

To replace a failed bulb, you must first remove
the lamp.
To remove the lamp:
F Open the bonnet.
F Press tab A to release the connector.

F Slacken fixing screw D, while holding the

bumper away.

F Slacken fixing screw E.

F Pull the lamp towards you, and disengage

the tab F to remove it completely.

Changing sidelamp bulbs

F Turn the bulb holder to the left and pull

it out.

F Pull the bulb out and and change it.
To reassemble, carry out these operations in
reverse order.

Changing main beam headlamp
bulbs

F Turn the bulb holder to the left and pull it out.
F Remove the bulb by pressing on the

tongue.

F Change the bulb.
For reassembly, carry out these operations in
reverse order.

Changing direction indicator
bulbs

F Turn the bulb holder to the left and pull

it out.

F Pull the bulb out and change it.
To refit, carry out these operations in reverse
order.

Amber coloured bulbs must be replaced
with bulbs of identical specifications
and colour.

Changing dipped beam headlamp
bulbs

F Turn the bulb holder to the left and pull it out.
F Remove the bulb by pressing on the

tongue.

F Change the bulb.
To refit, carry out these operations in reverse
order.

Changing front foglamp bulbs /
daytime running lamp bulbs

F Put the front wheels onto full lock, to

facilitate access.

F Remove the clips securing the protective

covers on the bulb holders.

F Move the cover aside.

F Turn the bulb holder (A for the front fog

lamp, B for the daytime running lamp) to
the left and pull it out.

F Pull the bulb out and change it.
To reassemble, carry out these operations in
reverse order.

1. Brake lamps / Sidelamps

(21 W / 15 W or LEDs).

2. Direction indicators (WY21W - 21 W).

Reversing lamps (W21W - 21 W).

Rear lamps

Amber coloured bulbs, such as the
direction indicators, must be replaced
with bulbs of identical specification and
colour.

In some weather conditions (e.g. low
temperature or humidity), the presence
of misting on the internal surface of the
glass of the headlamps and rear lamps
is normal; it disappears after the lamps
have been on for a few minutes.

Changing integrated direction
indicator side repeater bulbs
(WY5W - 5 W)

F Push the repeater towards the rear and

disengage it.

F Turn the bulb holder to the left and pull

it out.

F Pull the bulb out and change it.
To reassemble, carry out these operations in
reverse order.

Access to bulbs

F Remove the two screws.
F Disengage the lamp unit by pulling it

towards you.

Changing a direction indicator

All work on the LED lamps must be carried out
by a PEUGEOT dealer or qualified workshop.

F Turn the bulb holder to the left and pull it out.
F Pull out the bulb and change it.

Changing a foglamp bulb
(W21W - 21W)

F Remove the cover.
F Turn the bulb holder to the left and pull it

out.

F Pull the bulb out and change it.
To refit, carry out these operations in reverse
order.

Third brake lamp (W5W - 5W)

F Remove the two screws.
F Pull out the bulb-holder.
F Pull out the bulb and change it.
To refit, carry out these operations in reverse
order.

Changing number plate lamp
bulbs (W5W - 5W)

F Push the cover inwards.
F Turn the bulb holder and pull it out.
F Remove the bulb and change it.
To refit, carry out these operations in reverse
order.

Changing a fuse

The extraction tweezer is fitted to the back of
the fusebox cover in the dashboard (left-hand
side).
To gain access to it:
F Unclip the cover and remove it completely

by pulling it towards you.

F Remove the tweezer.

Access to tools

Before changing a fuse, the cause of the failure
must be identified and rectified.
F Check that the ignition switch is in the

"LOCK" position.

F Identify the faulty fuse by checking the

condition of its filament.

F Use the special tweezer to extract the fuse

from its location.

F Always replace the faulty fuse with a fuse

of the same rating.

F Check that the number etched on the box,

the rating etched on the top and the tables
below all agree.

vehicle or for rectifying the malfunctions
resulting from the installation of
accessories not supplied and not
recommended by PEUGEOT and
not installed in accordance with its
instructions, in particular when the
consumption of all of the additional
equipment connected exceeds

optional equipment.
Before installing other electrical
equipment or accessories in your
vehicle, contact a PEUGEOT dealer or
a qualified workshop.

fuses

The fusebox is placed in the front compartment
under the heating system fluid reservoir. Only
these fuses can be replaced.

The replacement of fuses for other
units (vacuum pump and 12 V
battery) requires the involvement of
a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified
workshop.

Towing the vehicle

Procedure for having your vehicle towed using fixed mechanical equipment.

Towing your vehicle

The towing eye is welded to the body below the
front bumper.
F Install the towing bar.
F Start your vehicle ("Ready" lamp on).
F Put the drive selector in position N.
F Release the parking brake.
F Switch on the hazard warning lamps on

your vehicle.

F Have your vehicle towed for no more than

20 miles (30 km) without exceeding a
speed of 20 mph (30 km/h)
.

When towing the vehicle with the four
wheels on the ground, always use a
towing bar.
When towing with only two wheels on
the ground, use professional lifting
equipment.

Failure to follow these instructions may
cause damage to braking components
and the electric motor.

Towing another vehicle

Your vehicle cannot be used in any
circumstances to tow another vehicle.
