(3) Position lower B-pillar trim panel near B-pillar
(Fig. 3).
(4) Feed seat belt turning loop and seat belt
through trim panel.
(5) Align locating pins on backside of trim panel to
mating holes in B-pillar.
(6) Push clips on trim panel into slots in B-pillar.
(7) Install access cover to B-pillar trim.
(8) Install bolt attaching turning loop to belt
adjuster.
(9) Install shoulder belt height control knob.
(10) Install bolt attaching lower seat belt anchor to
floor pan kick-up.
(11) Install front and rear door sill trim.
BODY VENT
REMOVAL
(1) Hoist rear end of vehicle and support on safety
stands.
(2) From behind rear bumper fascia below quarter
panel, disengage clips attaching body vent to wheel
well.
(3) Remove body vent from vehicle (Fig. 4).
INSTALLATION
(1) Place body vent in vehicle.
(2) From behind rear bumper fascia below quarter
panel, engage clips attaching body vent to wheel
well.
(3) Lower vehicle.

DECKLID SILL SCUFF PLATE
REMOVAL
(1) Open decklid to gain access to sill trim.
(2) Remove decklid sill scuff plate cover (Fig. 5).
(3) Remove decklid sill trim from vehicle
INSTALLATION
(1) Place decklid sill scuff plate into position (Fig.
5).
(2) Press on decklid sill scuff clips to seat them.
DOOR SILL TRIM
REMOVAL
REMOVAL
(1) Open door to gain access to sill trim.
(2) Disengage clips attaching sill trim to door sill
and door opening flange.
(3) Remove door sill trim from vehicle (Fig. 6).
REMOVAL - PT-27 ONLY
(1) Open door to gain access to sill trim.
(2) Remove door sill scuff plate cover (Fig. 7).
(3) Disengage clips attaching sill trim to door sill
and door opening flange (Fig. 8).
(4) Remove door sill trim from vehicle
INSTALLATION
INSTALLATION
(1) Position door sill trim on door sill (Fig. 6).
(2) Align locating pins on backside of trim panel to
holes in door sill.
(3) Engage clips on trim panel into slots in door
sill.

(4) Engage clips on trim panel onto tabs on lower
B-pillar and cowl trim.
(5) Press downward on trim panel to fully engage
all clips.
INSTALLATION - PT-27 ONLY
(1) Place door sill scuff plate into position (Fig. 8).
(2) Push clips into the seated position
(3) Install door sill scuff plate cover (Fig. 7).
FLOOR CARPET
REMOVAL
(1) Remove front seats.
(2) Remove rear seats from vehicle (Fig. 9)
(3) Remove door sill trim covers.
(4) Remove cowl trim covers.
(5) Remove center floor console.
(6) Remove rear seat pivot bezels and striker
bezel.
(7) Remove lower fasteners from B-pillar trim
panel.
(8) Remove rear floor pan cargo and flat tire tie
down loop attaching screw (Fig. 10).
(9) Pull carpet from behind quarter trim panel.
(10) Fold carpet in half toward rear seat.
(11) Remove carpet through rear door opening.
INSTALLATION
(1) Install carpet through liftgate opening.
(2) Unfold carpet.
(3) Tuck carpet behind quarter trim panel (Fig. 9).
(4) Install lower fasteners holding B-pillar trim
panel.

(5) Install center floor console.
(6) Install cowl trim covers.
(7) Install rear seat pivot bezels and striker bezel.
(8) Install door sill trim covers.
(9) Install bolts attaching front seat belt lower
anchors to floor. Tighten all seat belts to 40 N·m (30
ft. lbs.) torque.
(10) Install front seats.
(11) Install rear floor pan cargo and flat tire tie
down loop attaching screw (Fig. 10). Tighten screw to
12 N·m (105 in. lbs.) torque.
(12) Install rear seats
CARGO AREA FLOOR CARPET
- PT-27
REMOVAL - PT-27 ONLY
(1) Fold down both rear seats.
(2) Release rear seat latch from inside of the
trunk.
(3) Remove attaching screw from left and right
rear seat fold forward check strap (Fig. 11).
(4) Remove rear seat pivot bezels (Fig. 12).
(5) Remove rear seats. (Refer to 23 - BODY/
SEATS/SEAT - REMOVAL).
(6) Remove left and right seat belt anchor for the
rear seat.
(7) Remove rear floor pan cargo and flat tire tie
down loop attaching screw.
(8) Remove push pin fasteners from front edge of
the carpet (Fig. 13).
(9) Remove cargo scuff plate.
(10) Pull carpet from behind quarter trim panel
and cargo trim panel.
(11) Fold carpet in half.
(12) Remove carpet from vehicle (Fig. 14).
INSTALLATION - PT-27 ONLY
(1) Place carpet into position (Fig. 14).
(2) Slip carpet under quarter trim panel and Cargo
trim panel.
(3) Install push pin fasteners in front edge of the
carpet (Fig. 13).
