ACTUATE THE S/C

SOLENOID CLICKING?

YES

STOP THE S/C

USING THE DRB

IS THE S/C VENT

NO

PERFORM TEST

VACUUM SOLENOID

ACTUATE THE S/C

SOLENOID CLICKING?

ENGINE, ALLOW TO SPEED CONTROL SERVO

IDLE 1 MINUTE.

KEY OFF, DISCONNECT

ATTACH A VACUUM

THE VACUUM SUPPLY TO

GAUGE TO THE

DOES THE VACUUM

REPAIR THE VACUUM

THE SPEED CONTROL

DISCONNECTED HOSE.

GAUGE READ

SUPPLY FOR A LEAK

SERVO.

START ENGINE.

MANIFOLD VACUUM?

OR RESTRICTION.*

TURN ENGINE OFF,

OBSERVE THE VACUUM DOES

THE VACUUM

REPLACE THE VACUUM

GAUGE FOR 10

HOLD FOR AT LEAST
