REPAIRING STORED TROUBLE CODES

Perform TEST 1A Before Proceeding

1. Wiggle the wiring harness and connectors of the airbag system, and rotate the steering wheel

from stop to stop. Check for trouble codes as you work through the system. Refer to General
Information Section 4.0 for system component location and connector pinouts.

2. If a stored trouble code becomes active, perform TEST 1A.

3. If a stored code is reproducible:

- Repair or replace the wiring harness
- Repair or replace the harness connector or terminals
- Replace the component as necessary

Refer to the specific diagnostic tests for trouble code set parameters and possible causes.
