CONTROL UNIT

Installation

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

REAR AIR CONTROL (REAR)

Removal

1. Remove the rear finisher assembly from the center console. Refer to

IP-11, "Exploded View"

.

2. Remove the 4 rear air control (rear) screws (A) and the rear air

control (rear) (1) from the rear finisher assembly.

Installation

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

Removal and Installation

REMOVAL

1. Remove the cluster lid D. Refer to

IP-17, "Removal and Installation"

.

2. Disconnect the in-vehicle sensor harness connector.
3. Remove the 2 screws and the in-vehicle sensor.

INSTALLATION

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

REMOVAL

1. Remove the optical sensor and bezel from the center of the instrument panel.
2. Disconnect the optical sensor connector.
3. Remove the optical sensor from the bezel.

INSTALLATION

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

Removal and Installation

REMOVAL

1. Remove lower dash side finisher. Refer to

INT-18, "Component"

.

2. Partialy remove front door welt.
3. Remove the upper glove box. Refer to

IP-18, "Removal and Installation"

.

4. Disconnect the intake sensor electrical connector.

NOTE:

The intake sensor is located on the top of the front heater and

cooling unit assembly next to the A/C evaporator cover.

5. Remove the intake sensor from the front heater and cooling unit

assembly.

INSTALLATION

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

4. Remove the blower motor wheel.
