BCM : Diagnosis Procedure

CHECK FUSES AND FUSIBLE LINK
Check that the following fuses and fusible link are not blown.
Are the fuses or fusible link blown?
YES
>> Replace the blown fuse or fusible link after repairing the affected circuit if a fuse or fusible link is
blown.
NO
>> GO TO 2.
2.
CHECK POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT
1.
Turn ignition switch OFF.
2.
Disconnect BCM connectors.
3.
Check voltage between BCM harness connector and ground.
Is the measurement value normal?
YES
>> GO TO 3.
NO
>> Repair harness or connector.
3.
CHECK GROUND CIRCUIT
Check continuity between BCM harness connector and ground.
Does continuity exist?
YES
>> INSPECTION END
NO
>> Repair harness or connector.

• Vehicle security indicator is located on top left side of the instrument panel near the autolight sensor.
• NATS (Nissan Anti-Theft System) and vehicle security system conditions are indicated by blink or illumina-
tion of vehicle security indicator.

1.
Perform “THEFT IND” in the “Active Test” mode with CONSULT-III.
2.
Check vehicle security indicator operation.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES

CHECK SECURITY INDICATOR LAMP POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT
1.
Turn ignition switch OFF.
2.
Disconnect security indicator lamp connector.
3.
Check voltage between security indicator lamp harness connec-
tor and ground.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
>> GO TO 2.
NO
>> Repair or replace harness.

minal 47 and security indicator lamp connector (B) M31 terminal

Check continuity between BCM connector (A) M19 terminal 47 and ground.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
>> GO TO 3.
NO
>> Repair or replace harness.
3.
CHECK BCM FUNCTION
1.
Connect BCM and security indicator lamp connectors.
2.
Turn ignition ON.
3.
Perform “THEFT IND” in the “Active Test” mode with CONSULT-III.
4.
Check voltage between BCM harness connector and ground.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
>> Replace security indicator lamp. Refer to
XX-XX, "*****"

NO
>> GO TO 4.
