CREW CAB
FRONT DOOR
Longitudinal clearance and surface height adjustment at front end
1.
Remove the front fender. Refer to
EXT-20, "Removal and Installation"
.
2.
Loosen the hinge bolts. Raise the front door at rear end to adjust.
3.
Install the front fender. Refer to
EXT-20, "Removal and Installation"
REAR DOOR
Longitudinal clearance and surface height adjustment at front end
1.
Remove the center pillar upper finisher. Refer to

Accessing from inside the vehicle, loosen the nuts. Open the rear door, and raise the rear door at rear end
to adjust.

Install the center pillar lower finisher. Refer to
.
STRIKER ADJUSTMENT
1.
Adjust the striker so that it becomes parallel with the lock inser-
tion direction.

Remove the upper striker covers and adjust the striker so that it
becomes parallel with the lock insertion direction.
Removal and Installation

KING CAB
Front Door
CAUTION:
• When removing and installing the door assembly, support the door with a jack and shop cloth to pro-
tect the door and body.
• When removing and installing door assembly, be sure to carry out the fitting adjustment.
• Check the hinge rotating part for poor lubrication. If necessary, apply body grease.
1.
Remove the front door glass and regulator assembly. Refer to
GW-16, "Front Door Glass Regulator"
2.
Remove the door harness.
3.
Remove the check link cover.
4.
Remove the check link bolt from the hinge pillar.
5.
Remove the door-side hinge nuts and bolts, and remove the
door assembly.
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
Rear Door
CAUTION:
• When removing and installing the door assembly, support the door with a jack and shop cloth to pro-
tect the door and body.
• When removing and installing door assembly, be sure to carry out the fitting adjustment.
• Check the hinge rotating part for poor lubrication. If necessary, apply body grease.
Striker bolts
: 16.6 N·m (1.7 kg–m, 12 ft–lb)

Remove the door glass. Refer to

Remove the speaker.
3.
Remove the door handles and latch assembly. Refer to
DLK-138, "Component Structure"
4.
Remove the check link.
5.
Remove the wire harness.
6.
Remove the door assembly.
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
CREW CAB
CAUTION:
• When removing and installing the door assembly, support the door with a jack and shop cloth to pro-
tect the door and body.
• When removing and installing door assembly, be sure to carry out the fitting adjustment.
• Check the hinge rotating part for poor lubrication. If necessary, apply body grease.

Remove the door finisher. Refer to

Remove the inner seal.
3.
Remove the door glass and regulator assembly. Refer to

Remove the check link bolt from the hinge pillar.

: 24.5 N·m (2.5 kg–m, 18 ft–lb)
Check link bolt to door
: 5.1 N·m (0.52 kg–m, 45 in–lb)

Remove the door-side hinge nuts and bolts, and remove the
door assembly.
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
