CHECK INPUT SIGNAL (WITHOUT CONSULT-II)
Without CONSULT-II
1. Start engine.
2. Check voltage between TCM harness connector M26 terminal No. 29 and ground while driving.
(Measure with AC range.)
Voltage:
At 0 km/h (0 MPH):
0V
At 30 km/h (19 MPH):

TROUBLE DIAGNOSIS FOR VHCL SPEED SEN·A/T (REVOLUTION SENSOR)
Component Inspection (Cont’d)
AT-94
Description
NMAT0217
The vehicle speed sensor·MTR is built into the speedometer
assembly. The sensor functions as an auxiliary device to the revo-
lution sensor when it is malfunctioning. The TCM will then use a
signal sent from the vehicle speed sensor·MTR.
