Troubleshooting

Preliminary check:
Check power window relay and "P/W LH (20A)" and "P/W RH (20A)" fuse. If open, check for short to ground though R/W or
R/B wire, replace fuse. In addition, check that all system electrical connectors mated correctly.
Front LH power window does not operate.

Turn the ignition switch ON position.
Check for voltage at terminal H(R/B) of
connector K-01 of power window main switch.
Is battery voltage present?

Yes

Go to next step

No

Repair open or short in the wire "Y" or replace.

Check for voltage between terminal H(R/B) and
terminal I(B) of power window main switch
connector K-01.
Is battery voltage present?

Yes

Go to next step

No

Check for a poor connection at ground. If OK,
repair open in the wire "B" or replace.

While pulling the UP position on main switch,
check for voltage at terminal N(R) of window
main switch connector K-01.
Is battery voltage present?

Yes

Go to next step

No

Check for a poor connection at power window
main switch. If OK, replace power window main
switch.

While pulling UP position on main switch, check
for voltage at terminal A(R) of front LH motor
connector K-021.
Is battery voltage present?

Yes

Go to next step

No

Repair open or short in the wire "L" or replace.

Check for continuity between terminal F(R/G)
and I(B) of power window main switch connector
K-01.Is battery voltage present?

Yes

Go to next step

No

Check for a poor connection at power window
main switch. If OK, replace power window main
switch.

Check for continuity between terminal B(R/G) of
front LH motor connector K-02.
Is battery voltage present?

Yes

Check for a poor connection at front LH motor. If
OK, replace front LH motor.

No

Repair open in the wire "R/G" or replace.

While pressing DOWN position on power
window main switch, check for voltage at
terminal F (R/G) of power window main switch
connector K-01.
Is battery voltage present?

Yes

Go to next step

No

Check for a poor connection at power window
main switch. If OK, replace power window main
switch.

While pressing DOWN position on power
window main switch, check for voltage at
terminal B(R/G) of front LH motor connector
K-03.
Is battery voltage present?

Yes

Go to next step

No

Repair open or short in the wire "R/G" or
replace.

Check for continuity between terminal N(R) and
I(B) of power window main switch K-01.
Is continuity present?

Yes

Go to next step

No

Check for a poor connection at power window
main switch. If OK, replace power window main
switch.

Check for continuity between terminal A(R) of
front LH motor connector K-03 and ground.
Is continuity present?

Yes

Check for a poor connection at front LH motor, If
OK, replace front LH motor.

No

Repair open in the wire "L" or replace.

Front RH power window do not operated by main switch.

Check for voltage at terminal E(R/W) of
connector K-01 of power window main switch.
Is battery voltage present?

No

Repair open or short in the wire "R/W" or
replace.

Check for voltage between terminal E(R/W) and
terminal I(B) of connector K-01 of power window
main switch.
Is battery voltage present?

Yes

Go to next step.

No

Check for a poor connection at ground. If OK,
repair open in the wire "B" or replace.

While pulling UP position on power window main
switch, check for voltage at terminal L(L/R) of
main switch connector K-01.
Is battery voltage present?

Yes

Go to next step.

No

Check for a poor connection at power window
main switch. If OK, replace power window main
switch.

While pulling UP position on power window main
switch, check for voltage at terminal B(R/Y) of
front RH power window switch connector K-05.
Is battery voltage present?

Yes

Go to next step.

No

Repair open or short in the wire "L/R" or replace.

While pulling UP position on power window main
switch, check for voltage at terminal C(L) of front
RH switch connector K-05.
Is battery voltage present?

Yes

Go to next step.

No

Check for a poor connection at front RH switch.
If OK, replace front RH power window switch.

While pulling UP position on power window main
switch, check for voltage at terminal A(L) of front
RH motor connector K-06.
Is battery voltage present?

Yes

Go to next step.

No

Repair open or short in the wire "L" or replace.

Check for continuity between terminal B(P) and
I(B) of power window main switch K-01.
Is continuity present?

Yes

Go to next step.

No

Check for a poor connection at power window
main switch. If OK, replace power window main
switch.

Check for continuity between terminal F(P) of
connector K-05 of front RH power window switch
and ground.
Is continuity present?

Yes

Go to next step.

No

Repair open or short in the wire "P" or replace.

Check for continuity between terminal D(R) of
front RH switch connector K-04.
Is continuity present?

Yes

Go to next step.

No

Check for poor connection at front RH window
switch. If OK, replace front RH power window
switch.

Check for continuity between terminal B(R) of
front RH motor connector K-06 and ground.
Is continuity present?

Yes

Check for poor connection at front LH motor. If
OK, replace front RH motor.

No

Repair open in the wire "R" or replace as
necessary.

While depressing DOWN position on power
window main switch, check for voltage at
terminal B(P) of power window main switch
K-01.
Is battery voltage present?

Yes

Go to next step.

No

Check for a poor connection at power window
main switch. If OK, replace power window main
switch.

While depressing DOWN position on main
switch, check for voltage at terminal F(P) of front
RH power window switch K-05.
Is battery voltage present?

Yes

Go to next step.

No

Repair open or short in the wire "P" or replace.

While depressing DOWN position on power
window main switch, check for voltage at
terminal D(R) of front RH power window switch
connector K-05.
Is battery voltage present?

Yes

Go to next step.

No

Check for a poor connection at front RH power
window switch. If OK, replace front RH power
window switch.

While depressing DOWN position on power

Yes

Go to next step.

Is battery voltage present?

No

Repair open or short in the wire "R" or replace.

Check for continuity between terminal M(L) and
I(B) of power window main switch K-01.
Is continuity present?

Yes

Go to next step.

Check for a poor connection at power window
main switch. If OK, replace for power window
main switch.

Check for continuity between terminal B(L/R) of
connector K-05 of front RH power window switch
and ground.Is continuity present?

Yes

Go to next step.

No

Repair open in the wire "R/Y" or replace.

Check for continuity between terminal C(L/D) of
front RH switch connector K-05.Is continuity
present?

Yes

Go to next step.

No

Check for a poor connection at front RH window
switch. If OK, replace front RH Power window
switch.

Check for continuity between terminal A(L) of
front LH motor connector K-06 and ground.Is
continuity present?

Yes

Check for a poor connection at front RH motor. If
OK, replace front RH motor.

No

Repair open in the wire "L" or replace.

Front RH power window does not operate by front RH power window switch.

With released LOCK switch, check for continuity
between terminal B(L/R) of front RH power
window switch K-05 and ground.
Is continuity present?

Yes

Go to next step

No

Check for a poor connection at power window
main switch. If OK, repair open in the wire "L/R"
or replace.

Check for continuity between terminal B(L/R) of
front RH power window switch K-05 and ground.
Is continuity present?

Yes

Go to next step

No

Check for a poor connection at power window
main switch. If OK, repair open in the wire "P" or
replace.

Turn the ignition switch to ON position.Check for
voltage at terminal A(R/W) of front RH power
window switch K-05.
Is battery voltage present?

Yes

Go to next step

No

Repair open or short in the wire "R/W" or
replace.

While pulling UP position on front RH power
window switch, check for voltage at terminal C(L)
of front RH power window switch K-05.
Is battery voltage present?

Yes

Go to next step

No

Check for a poor connection at front RH power
window switch. If OK, replace for front RH power
window switch.

While pulling UP position on front RH power
window switch, check for voltage at terminal A(L)
of front RH power window switch K-06.
Is battery voltage present?

Yes

Go to next step

No

Repair open or short in the wire "L" or replace.

While pressing DOWN position on front RH
power window switch, check for voltage at
terminal D(R) of front RH power window switch
K-05.
Is battery voltage present?

Yes

Go to next step

No

Check for a poor connection at front RH power
window switch. If OK, replace front RH power
window switch.

While pressing DOWN position on front RH
power window switch, check for voltage at
terminal B(R) of front RH power window switch
K-06.
Is battery voltage present?

Yes

Replace front RH power window motor.

No

Repair open or short in the wire "R" or replace.
