· When programming the control module, battery charger must not be connected to the battery.

Important Note about test probe

△ Important Note: Do not put probe of test equipment (digital multimeter, etc.) into the harness connector or terminal in the

fuse box, which will make the most of the diameter of the test probe terminal deformation contact problems

after the terminal deformation, resulting in system failures, be sure to use special tools to detect the terminal

from the front, not to detect the terminal with a paper clip or other alternatives.

△ Important Note: When using a special tool to test components, ensure that the selected terminal test adapters meet the

size of the connector terminals, do not rely on visual test to select the terminal adapter, because some hole

connector terminal may seem practical than the hole terminal to be large, with large terminal test adapter will

damage the terminal.

Important Notes about window edge damage

△ Important Note: to avoid hit on the exposed edge causing window damage, the window must be lower than the surface of

the sheet metal by 1mm, to avoid damage to the window.

II、Vehicle Inspection

(I)Checklist when operating vehicle

Loudspeaker operation

Occasionally pressing the horn to ensure that the speaker is working properly, check all the button.

Brake system operation

Abnormal noise, increasing the brake pedal stroke or repetitive braking deviation phenomenon should be aware when

braking. In addition, if the brake warning light illuminate or flash, which means certain part of the brake system may fail.

(II)Checklist when refueling

Any system (except windshield washer outside) showing leakage of oil indicate a fault, the system should be checked and

repaired immediately.

Check the front windshield cleaner liquid

Check the containing of glass cleaner, if necessary, add glass cleaner if necessary.

(III)Monthly checklist

Lights operation

Check the license plate lights, headlight (including low beam), parking lights, fog lights, tail lights, brake lights, turn lights,

reverse lights and hazard warning flasher operation.

Oil leak check

After the vehicle is parked for some time, you should regularly check whether there is water, engine oil, fuel or other liquids

under the car. Drip from air conditioning system after using is normal, if you find fuel leaks or find smoke, you should

immediately find the cause and troubleshooting.

(IV)Checklist twice a year at least

Doors and windows sealing strip lubrication

Make a lubrication film on the sealing strip with a clean rag.

(V)Annual checklist

Status and operation of the seat belt

Check the seat belt system, including woven belt, lock, lock plate, retractor, guide ring and fixtures.

Spare tire and jack storage

Rear of the vehicle appears rattle sound, spare tire, all lifting equipment and tools must always be fixed, and after each use,

with engine oil lubrication jack ratchet or screw mechanism.

Key-lock maintenance

Key cylinder lubrication.

Body lubrication and maintenance

Lubricate all door hinges, including the hood, fuel filler door, luggage compartment (back door) hinges and latches, the

glove box and console doors, and any mechanical folding seats.

Vehicle bottom wash

First, loose the deposit waste in closed area , then clean the bottom of vehicle body with water. After the winter, the vehicle

bottom should be flushed one time at least every year, which will clean snow and ice and corrosive substances.

To avoid injury, when working on or under vehicle only supported by jack, be sure to use the jack stand.

VI、Health and Safety

(I)Illustration

Vehicle maintenance and repair will affect many operations related to personal safety or health problems, this section lists some

of the hazards associated with materials and equipment operations and lists the safety rules to avoid such hazards.

This section does not include all matters related to health and safety, all operations and procedures and dealing material should

be implemented at the premise of health and safety. Before using any product, you should review the manual provided by the

manufacturer or supplier.

(II)Acid and alkali

E.g., corrosive sodium sulfate.

Used for cleaning battery and other materials.

Irritant or corrosive to eyes, skin, smell and throat, and cause body burns, damage to ordinary protective clothing.

Avoid splashing in the eyes, skin and clothing, wear proper protective clothing, gloves and goggles to avoid inhalation of spray.

Be sure following items prepared nearby devices: eye wash bottles, lotus and soap, which will ensure you can always get timely

relief.

Eye danger signs marked prominently.

(III)Airbag

For highly flammable, explosive material- comply with the smoking ban

Airbags mounted in the steering wheel, front passenger seat, passenger front dashboard and inside A-pillar, B pillar, C pillar as

a secondary safety system.

Airbag expander containing the high-energy propellant will produce a high temperature gas (2500

℃ / 4532 ℉ ) when ignited.

Such propellants are sealed and stored in a sealed assembly, when the propellants acted, the air produced will instantly fill the

airbag. The airbag must be not open when repairing, which will lead to contact with the propellant and cause danger, if you find the

occurrence of airbag expander, when dealing with spilled material, protective clothing should wear.

After airbag detonated in the normal process, safety goggles and gloves should wear.

Detonated air bag should be dealt according to local laws and regulation

If get contact with gas derivatives, you should:

· wash the contact area with water

· seek for medical care if necessary

Gasbag- Procedures should be performed

For your safety, please wear protective equipment when performing following procedures; when removing the gasbag, be sure

to switch the car ignition to "LOCK", unplug the key, and wait 90s demolition work after disconnect the battery negative.

The air bag module should be stored in an upright position.

Keep the air bag module dry during storage.

When handling the airbag module, keep your body away from the airbag and do not touch electrode with hand.

Place the airbag module with the cover facing up.

Check if the airbag component damage.

Disconnect the battery negative before install the airbag, stand by the side of the airbag component after wait for 60s.

Adjust and maintenance all device carefully.

Wash hands after handling the exploded airbag.

Airbag-Forbidden operation

Flammable materials and components or gas generator must not be stored together.

The airbag assembly can’t be immersed in water or other liquids.

The gas generator can’t be stored at environment temperature higher than 80 ℃ / 176 ℉ .

The components can’t be stored upside down.

Do not attempt to open the gas generator housing.

Do not exposed the gas generator to fire or heat sources.

Do not place other items on the component cover.

Do not use damaged components.

Do not touch the components or gas generator after 10min the airbag module exploded in the air bag module 10min, touch the

components or gas generator.

Do not use any electrical probes in electric loop.

(IV)A/C refrigerant

Cold injury might cause by skin contact.

Instructions provided by the manufacturer must be complied, avoid exposure under bare lamp, wear proper protective gloves

and goggles.

If skin or eye contact with refrigerant, use water to wash the contact area immediately. Use proper medical liquid to wash your

eyes, do not rub your eye, get medical aid if necessary.

Refrigerant-Forbidden operation

The refrigerant can’t be stored in direct sunlight or near heat source

When filled, the refrigerant can’t bottle upright, keep their valve downwardly.

The refrigerant tank can’t be exposed to frost or ice.

Do not let the refrigerant bottle fall. Under any circumstances, the refrigerant should not be exhausted to the atmosphere

directly.

Do not use mixed refrigerant, such as R12 (dichlorodifluoromethane) and R134a (Tetrafluoroethane).

(V)Adhesives and sealants

Important note:

Before using adhesive / sealant, be sure to the surface cleaned, and use special cleaning agents to wipe, so as not to affect the

bonding effect. When using sealants, do not let the fast-solidification sealant get into threaded blind hole, if the room temperature

curing sealant into the threaded blind bore, the fastener will produce hydraulic lock effect when tightened, resulting in the fastener

and (or) damage to other components, and will not get the correct fastener clamping force when tightened, the sealing effect sealant

deterioration, leading fastener not properly tightened, so that loose parts or separation, resulting in serious damage to the engine and

other components.

Health and Safety

Adhesive / sealant contain harmful substances, long-term exposure can cause acute and chronic poisoning, occupational

disease, skin diseases and other diseases. During glue coating, using ventilation equipment to keep the workplace ventilated;

Operators must wear protective gloves, masks, protective clothing, etc., after the work is completed, we should carefully wash their

hands, keep the workplace clean and tidy, sanitation .

Glue or solvent waste should be clean timely, but not long-term accumulated.

Products should normally be stored in non-smoking areas, try to use the applicator or container to construct.

Adhesives/Sealants Repair

When vehicle get damage in failure or accident, causing body deformation, cracking steel, solder shedding phenomena,

sometimes even damage the engine assembly, chassis, resulting in some of the adhesive / sealant products loose, damage. When

repairing, use correct sealant based on the components material and functional requirements, following listed adhesive / sealant are

the possible sealant needed when repairing.

Vehicle body repair

After body and interior steel suffer deformation or cracking, adhesive coating on the vehicle body loose or crack, during

maintenance, repairing coated parts needed.

First, use a knife to remove the adhesive surface on the body, the remaining adhesive can be wiped clean with alcohol; use

special detergent to wipe glue parts, avoid excessive glue and other impurities left in the surface; then repair adhesives applied in the

original sizing site, thus achieve bonding and sealing effect.

Component Part Maintenance

After some interior parts, engines, transmissions and other parts were damaged, repairing such as bonding and sealing are

needed. Before coating sealant, clean the adhesive surface to avoiding glitches and cracks impact the bonding effect.

Note when repairing

· Adhesive / sealant prevent water and dust from entering the vehicle, and anti-corrosion. When using the adhesive / sealant

to close the opening seams, high consistency filler is recommended to use. Follow the instructions to operate.

· When spray adhesive / sealant material, preventive measure must be taken to avoid spraying into the opening parts (such as

door locks, window lift slots, window regulators and seat belt retractors) and any movement, rotating parts in particular the

parking brake cable. After the spray adhesive / sealant, all bleed hole should be open after sparing.

· During operation, you should wear special protective glasses and gloves, in case of injury.

· When the vehicle comes out from the factory, the body sheet metal is painted, after repair and / or replacement of parts, all

exposed metal surfaces must be treated with anti-rust primer before we can coat glue .

· After glue coating, some adhesive / sealant needs drying treatment, treatment condition is (70-80)

℃, 20-30min.

(VI)Asbestos

Inhalation of asbestos dust can easily cause lung damage, and even cause cancer.

When handling asbestos dust, wet them and placed in sealed container and make mark on the cover, for convenience and

safety. If you need to cut or drill holes in asbestos-containing materials, be sure to wet it first, and use hand tools or low-speed

power tools only.

(VII)Battery acid

Gas released when charging is explosive, do not use fire near charging battery or battery full charged recently.

Keep good ventilation.

(VIII)Chemical materials

Such as solvents, sealants, adhesives, paints, resin foam, battery acid, engine coolant, brake fluid, fuels, lubricants and

greases chemical materials, and in the use, storage and handling should be very Note. They may be toxic, harmful, corrosive,

irritant or highly flammable, and high risk of odors and dust.

Long-term excessive exposure to chemicals in the environment may be affected immediately or chronic, short or forever,

the cumulative surface, life-threatening, or might affect life expectancy.

Chemical materials - operations should be performed

· Carefully read and follow the warnings and cautions on raw container, and any accompanying leaflets, posters or other

instructions for use, the health and safety of raw data form, made by the manufacturer.

· After contact with chemical materials, removed from the skin and clothing as soon as possible.

· Strictly follow the correct procedure, and wear protective clothing to avoid direct contact with skin and eyes.

· When handling chemical material, before the break, eating, smoking, or using toilet , you must firstly wash and clean

yourself.

· Keep the work area clean, tidy and not chemical material spill.

Chemical materials - forbidden operation

· Do not mix chemicals, unless the manufacturer's instructed so; some chemicals will form toxic or harmful chemicals when

mixed , and might cause explosion and other accidents

· Not spray chemicals in a closed environment.

· Do not heat on the chemical material, unless the manufacturer instructed so. Some chemicals are highly flammable, while

others may release toxic gases.

· Chemical container should keep closed as necessary, exudes gases may accumulate to toxic and harmful degree or

explosion. Some of the gas is heavier than air and may accumulate in an enclosed space.

· Do not load the chemical material within the container with no mark.

· Chemical materials can’t be used to clean hands and clothing. Chemicals, especially solvents and fuels will dry the skin, or

cause allergies, skin inflammation or be absorbed through the skin directly toxic and harmful substances affect health.

· Unless contain is clean surely, it can’t be used for storing other chemical materials.

· Do not freely sniff or smell chemical materials, which may cause toxic or damage.

(IX)Dust

Powder, dust and dust may be irritating, harmful or toxic, avoid inhaling powdered chemical materials and operations due to

dry friction dust raised, if ventilation is poor, you need to wear respirators, protective gear to prevent inhalation of dust.

Combustible dust may cause explosion, thus avoid explosion and fire.

(X)Electric shock

Mistaking using electrical device not according to instructions or abusing electrical device in good condition may cause

electrical shock.

Maintenance and test the electrical equipment periodically. Faulted device should be marked, and it’s better to remove out

of operating area.

Do not wear, kinking, cutting, cracking or damage the wires, cables, plugs and sockets are subject, do not let the electrical

equipment and wiring contact with water.

Ensure proper protection of electrical equipment with fuse.

Do not misuse electrical equipment, or use any failure risky equipment, which may result in personal injury.

Cables of Electrical equipment should be nip or damage when moving.

Electrical operator should be trained with basic first aid.

When shocked:

· Before contact with the victim, turn off the power.

· If you can’t turn off the power, use a dry insulator material to remove the power from the victims.

· If you received specialized training in first aid, first aid immediately.

· Request medical assistance

(XI)Exhaust gas

The exhaust gas containing toxic, harmful chemicals, such as carbon oxides, nitrogen oxides, acetaldehyde, lead and

aromatic hydrocarbon substances. Engine can run only when the working place is well ventilated with proper ventilation device.

(XII)Fiber isolation

To isolate noise and sound.

Sharp edges on fiber surface can cause skin irritation.

Comply with instructions and wear gloves when operation, avoid excessive skin contact with fiber.

(XIII)Fire

Many materials related with vehicle repairing are extremely flammable. Some materials will produce toxic and harmful

gases after burning.

In the storage and handling of flammable materials or solvents, do follow the non-fire rule, especially near electrical

equipment or welding operating places.

Before using electrical and welding equipment, you must first confirm that no fire hazard.

During welding or using a heating device, you should prepare a proper fire extinguisher around the work area.

(XIV)First aid

Comply with the law, personnel received professional training in first aid should be prepare in the workplace for insurance.

If the eyes are splashed, you should at least rinse them for 10min with water.

If the skin is contaminated, you need to use soap and water to clean the contaminated area.

If cold injured, put the injured part in ice water or cold water.

Personnel inhaled of toxic gases should immediately transferred to place with fresh air, seek medical attention immediately

to the hospital. If accidentally swallowed the liquid, you should remember the information on the container and tell the doctor,

do not freely lead yourself vomit unless instructed.

(XV)Foam – Polyurethane

Curing foam is used for buffering cushion of seat and decoration.

Comply with manufacturer's instructions

Component does not produce chemical action irritating to the skin and eyes and may be harmful, the need to wear gloves

and goggles to operate. Chronic respiratory diseases, asthma, bronchial problems, or suffering from atopic personnel should not

handle or near UNSLAKED substances.

Its spare parts, vapor or spray may cause direct irritation and allergic reactions and may be toxic and harmful

Do not breathe vapor or spray, these materials must be used in a well-ventilated and protected respiratory conditions. The

masks can’t be removed immediately after the spray, wait vapor or spray before removing completely dissipated.

Uncured foam components and has matured combustion, will produce toxic and harmful gases, during the bubble period of

operation, unless vapor, spray has been completely cleared, otherwise prohibit smoking, use of fire and electrical equipment,

(XVI)Fuel

Minimize skin contact with fuel directly, if exposed to fuel, should immediately direct contact with the skin of fuel and

water to wash with soap.

Gasoline

Extremely combustible materials-Non-smoking

If swallowed, can cause mouth and throat irritation, stomach absorption can lead to general weakness and confusion, a small

amount of gasoline will affect the lives of children, so if the liquid into the lungs, is a very dangerous thing.

Gasoline can cause dry skin, long-term contact will result in skin irritation and dermatitis, liquid entering the eye will cause

severe eye pain

Gasoline may contain large amounts of benzene, which can cause poisoning after inhaling, the concentration of gasoline

vapors must be kept at low and high concentrations of gasoline vapor can cause eye, nose and throat irritation, nausea, headaches,

depression and drunkenness physical discomfort, a high concentration of gasoline vapors can cause consciousness loss rapidly.

When handling gasoline, keep good ventilation, avoid inhalation of gasoline vapors, especially in confined spaces attention

when operating.

Gasoline should not be used as cleaner, do not suck with your mouth.

(XVII)General workshop tools and equipment

Always keep all the tools and equipment in good working condition, and proper operation with them during use.

Remember not the tools or equipment, used in its design features incompatible uses. Don’t make cranes, jacks, axle and

chassis brace or sling like device can withstand more than its maximum limit load. Damage caused by overload may not

immediately apparent, it may cause a serious accident the next time you use.

Do not use damaged or poor working conditions tools or equipment, in particular certain high-speed devices such as: wheel.

Damaged wheel will be broken down without warning and cause serious injury.

When using the grinding wheel, chisel or blasting equipment, wear appropriate eye protection equipment.

When using sandblasting equipment to handle asbestos-containing materials or use spray equipment to operate, you must

wear appropriate respirators.

Ventilation equipment should be able to control dust, spray and smoke in the environment.

(XVIII)Lubricants and greases

Avoid long-term repeated contact with oils, lubricants and greases, which all are irritated to eyes and skin.

Health Protection Safety

· Wear protective clothing, including impervious gloves.

· Do not wear engine oil contaminated clothing and shoes. Clean the suit regularly,

· Open wounds should be timely treated.

· Ovoid skin contact with engine oil directly, with cream coated on hands.

· Wash with soap and water, remove all engine oils. Applying protective agent containing lanolin will help replace the natural

oils on the skin are removed

· If the skin lesions occur, immediately seek medical treatment.

· Before working, remove the residual oil as possible

· If there is possibility of direct contact with the eye, you should wear goggles such as chemical goggles or face shield; as

well as eye wash equipment.

Environmental Considerations

Waste engine oil and oil filter should be disposed by licensed recycling or waste disposal licensed provider, or waste engine

oil recyclers. If in doubt, you should contact your local authorities deal with workplace related sectors.

Discarding the used engine oil directly into the ground, sewer or drainage, or water pipe is illegal.

(XIX)Noise

High-decibel noise can be produced during some operation, which may cause hearing damage. If so, you should wear

appropriate hearing protection devices.

IX. Noise and abnormal sound

(I)Diagnostic information and procedures

Wind noise / Airborne sound

△ Note When technician check faulted part, assistant should be in charge of driving, otherwise, it may cause injury accident

Test drive should be processed inside of the car, as accurately identify the location of wind noise. Generally, the presence of

major leaks and wind noise minor leak, if not repair all leaks in the repair process, it can only reduce wind noise, but not completely

eliminate wind noise. Be sure to take the time to test drive maintenance personnel as a tool to help diagnose the specific location of

wind noise:

- Stethoscope

- Masking Tape

- caulking strips

- marker

- Screwdriver

Road test in accordance with the following procedure

- Select a path, which has a straight street, east, south, west and north of the four different directions.

- Select the street with fewer or smaller noise, in order to avoid impact.

- The customer thinks is most obvious noise or emit noise road test under speed, do not exceed the limit speed.

- Wind noise in following cases are the external wind noise

- After lowering the window glass of the vehicle while driving wind noise can be heard immediately.

- When the tape seal all the decorative seals and clearance, wind noise immediately disappear. Wind noise is caused by the

internal air escaping to the outside, the repair should be as following:

- After confirm the leak position, use adhesive tape to stick the door pillar relief valve body. The car will immediately form a

pressure, and enhance the wind noise.

- Use a stethoscope to confirm the location of leaks.

- Use masking tape temporary repairs leak site.

- Continue the road test to confirm whether the noise is total eliminated or there is other leakage.

- After confirm all leakage position, return to the workshop, use professional sound localization and permanent sealing

materials to repair.

II、Engine Compartment Cover Assembly

(I)Removal

1. Open engine compartment cover

2. Remove engine compartment cover assembly

1). Mark position that hinge relative to engine compartment

cover, remove 2 fixed bolts that connecting engine

compartment cover and hinge both in left and right side,

and take down engine compartment cover assembly;

△ Note This step needs partner to lift engine hood to

prevent drooping.


(II)Installation

1. Install engine compartment cover assembly

1). Install 2 fixed bolts connecting hinge and engine

compartment cover in both left and right side according to

marked position;

Tighten torque

30~36N·m

△ Note Pay attention to face difference of engine

compartment cover assembly and fender.

2. Close engine compartment cover

(III)Adjustment

1. Adjust engine compartment cover

1). Open engine compartment cover;

2). Loosen fixed bolt of engine compartment cover and hinge using sleeve of 12mm;

3). Adjust horizontally: Adjust position of engine compartment cover and triangle window and A pillar, ensure clearance of

engine hood and A pillar, triangle window is even, and ensure meshing of engine compartment cover and front wall trim
panel is well; Adjust vertically: Adjust position of engine compartment cover and front wall trim panel, and ensure it is not
interfered with front wall trim panel when closing engine compartment cover; (Adjust by moving engine compartment
cover horizontally and vertically);

4). Close engine compartment cover, ensure clearance, face difference of engine compartment cover and surrounding, and

ensure proper alignment of left and right hinge.

Proper alignment

Φ0.5mm

5). Adjust engine compartment cover buffering block to proper position according to face difference of engine compartment

cover;

6). Tighten engine compartment cover hinge bolt;

7). Close engine compartment cover;
