7. Open the primary lock to disengage.

8. Push the range selector cable end (5) onto the transmission range selector lever ball stud to

secure.

9. Close the primary lock to engage.

10. Slide the secondary locking tab forward to secure the primary lock.

11. Lower the vehicle.

12. Check the vehicle for proper operation.

Removal Procedure

1. Ensure the vehicle is in the PARK position.

2. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
