INSPECTION

1. INSPECT FLUID COUPLING ASSEMBLY

a. Check that the fluid coupling is not damaged and that no silicon oil leaks.

If necessary, replace the fluid coupling.

2. INSPECT FAN BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY

a. Check the turning smoothness of the fan bracket. If necessary, replace the fan bracket.

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL FAN

a. Install the fan to the fluid coupling with the 4 nuts.

Torque: 9.0 N*m (92 kgf*cm, 80 in.*lbf)

2. INSTALL FAN SHROUD (see INSTALLATION )

3. INSTALL RADIATOR HOSE INLET

4. INSTALL AIR CLEANER HOSE ASSEMBLY (See INSTALLATION )

5. ADD ENGINE COOLANT (see COOLANT )

6. INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK (see ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION )

7. INSTALL THROTTLE BODY COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (See INSTALLATION )

8. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER (See REPLACEMENT )
