REMOVAL

1. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER (See REMOVAL )

2. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT (see REPLACEMENT )

3. REMOVE V-BANK COVER (See REMOVAL )

4. REMOVE RADIATOR HOSE INLET

5. REMOVE RADIATOR HOSE OUTLET

6. REMOVE FAN SHROUD (see REMOVAL )

7. REMOVE FAN

a. Remove the 4 nuts and fan from the fluid coupling.

INSPECTION

1. INSPECT FLUID COUPLING ASSEMBLY

a. Check the fluid coupling for damage or silicon oil leaks.

If necessary, replace the fluid coupling.

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL FAN

a. Install the fan to the coupling with the 4 nuts.

Torque: 9.0 N*m (92 kgf*cm, 80 in.*lbf)

2. INSTALL FAN SHROUD (see INSTALLATION )

3. INSTALL RADIATOR HOSE INLET

4. INSTALL RADIATOR HOSE OUTLET

5. ADD ENGINE COOLANT (see REPLACEMENT )

6. INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK (see ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION )

7. INSTALL V-BANK COVER (See INSTALLATION )

8. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER (See INSTALLATION
