REMOVAL
1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTE:
Some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected
(see INITIALIZATION ).

2. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH
a. for Double Cab:
Remove the front door scuff plate LH (see REMOVAL ).
b. for CrewMax:
Remove the front door scuff plate LH (see REMOVAL ).
3. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD LH (See REMOVAL )
4. REMOVE INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL LH (See REMOVAL )
5. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (See
REMOVAL )
6. REMOVE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL ASSEMBLY (See REMOVAL )
7. REMOVE CENTER LOWER INSTRUMENT COVER (See REMOVAL )
8. REMOVE FRONT ASH RECEPTACLE BOX SUB-ASSEMBLY
9. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL (See REMOVAL )
10. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL CUP HOLDER ASSEMBLY (See REMOVAL )
11. REMOVE INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL ASSEMBLY (for Manual Air Conditioning
System) (See REMOVAL )
12. REMOVE INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL ASSEMBLY (for Automatic Air
Conditioning System) (See REMOVAL )
13. REMOVE NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET
a. Remove the 4 bolts.
After the ignition switch is turned OFF, the navigation system
requires approximately 90 seconds to record various types of
memory and settings. As a result, after turning the ignition switch
OFF, wait 90 seconds or more before disconnecting the cable from
the negative (-) battery terminal.

b. Pull the navigation receiver as shown in the illustration to detach the 3 clips on the backside of the
navigation receiver.
c. Disconnect the connectors and remove the navigation receiver.

14. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIO BRACKET
a. Remove the 4 bolts and bracket.

15. REMOVE NO. 2 RADIO BRACKET
a. Remove the 4 bolts and bracket.

INSTALLATION
1. INSTALL NO. 2 RADIO BRACKET
a. Install the bracket with the 4 bolts.
