16. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH (See INSTALLATION )

17. INSTALL INNER FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH

a. Attach the 3 claws in the order shown in the illustration, and install the cushion shield.

b. Install the screw.

18. INSTALL FRONT POWER SEAT LUMBAR SWITCH (w/ Lumbar Support Adjuster)

a. Install the switch with the 2 screws.

19. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH

a. w/ Lumbar Support Adjuster:

Connect the switch connector.

b. Attach the 3 claws in the order shown in the illustration, and install the cushion shield.

c. Install the 2 screws.

d. Using hog ring pliers, install the rubber band of the seatback cover to the seat frame with new hog

rings.

20. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE LH

a. Attach the claw to install the reclining adjuster release handle.

21. INSTALL VERTICAL SEAT ADJUSTER KNOB LH (for 8 Way Seat Type)

a. Install the snap ring to the vertical seat adjuster knob.

b. Install the vertical seat adjuster knob to the front seat.

22. INSTALL VERTICAL ADJUSTING HANDLE LH (for 8 Way Seat Type)

a. Install the vertical adjusting handle with the 2 screws.

b. Attach the 2 claws to install the vertical adjusting handle cap.

INSTALLATION

HINT:



Use the same procedures for the LH side and RH side.



The procedures listed below are for the LH side.

1. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH

a. Install the front seat.

b. Connect the seat wire connectors under the seat.

c. Operate the seat track adjusting handle to move the seat to the rearmost position.

d. Install the 2 bolts.

Torque: 37 N*m (377 kgf*cm, 27 ft.*lbf)

e. Operate the seat track adjusting handle to move the seat to the foremost position.

f. Install the 2 bolts.

Torque: 37 N*m (377 kgf*cm, 27 ft.*lbf)

NOTE:

Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.
