8. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTE:
Some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected
(see INITIALIZATION ).
After the ignition switch is turned OFF, the navigation system
requires approximately 90 seconds to record various types of

9. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
10. PERFORM YAW RATE AND DECELERATION SENSOR ZERO POINT CALIBRATION
a. Perform the yaw rate and deceleration sensor zero point calibration (see CALIBRATION ).
11. CHECK STEERING ANGLE SENSOR ZERO POINT CALIBRATION
a. Check the steering angle sensor zero point calibration (see DTC C1290/66: STEERING ANGLE
SENSOR ZERO POINT MALFUNCTION ).

OFF, wait 90 seconds or more before disconnecting the cable from
the negative (-) battery terminal.
