OK: Go to Next Step
2. INSPECT STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER
a. Disconnect the K15 amplifier connector.
b. Measure the voltage.
1. Jack up the drive wheels.
2. Move the shift lever to the neutral position.
3. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.

4. Measure the voltage between terminal SPD of the stereo component amplifier and body
ground when the drive wheels are turned slowly.
OK: Voltage pulses as shown in the illustration.
NG: Go to step 3

OK: REPLACE STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER (see REMOVAL )
3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (COMBINATION METER - STEREO COMPONENT
AMPLIFIER)
a. Disconnect the K15 amplifier connector.
b. Disconnect the J28 meter connector.
c. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance
TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION
HINT:
If the resistance between terminal SPD and body ground is less than 10 kohms, there may be a
short in a wire harness, connector, or an ECU that is connected to the SPD signal wire.
NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

CELLULAR PHONE VOICE CIRCUIT BETWEEN RADIO RECEIVER AND STEREO
COMPONENT AMPLIFIER
SYSTEM DESCRIPTION
This circuit is used when the cellular phone voice in the "Bluetooth" handsfree system is on.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO RECEIVER - STEREO COMPONENT
AMPLIFIER)
a. Disconnect the K3 receiver connector.
b. Disconnect the K15 amplifier connector.
c. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

MICROPHONE CIRCUIT BETWEEN MICROPHONE AND RADIO RECEIVER
DESCRIPTION
This circuit sends a microphone signal from the microphone to the radio receiver.
It also supplies power from the radio receiver to the microphone.
