INSTALL FAN SHROUD
a
Install the fan pulley to the fan bracket
b
Place the shroud together with the coupling fan between the radiator and engine
c
Temporarily install the fluid coupling fan to the fan bracket with the 4 nuts Tighten the nuts as
much as possible by hand
d
Attach the shroud's claws to the radiator as shown in the illustration

Install the shroud with the 2 bolts
Torque: 6.5 N*m (66 kgf*cm, 58 in.*lbf)

w/ Trailer Towing System:
Pass the 2 hoses through the flexible hose clamp and close the clamp as shown in the illustration
NOTE:
Be careful not to damage the radiator core.

Connect the reservoir hose to the upper radiator tank

Install the fan and generator V-belt
i
Tighten the 4 nuts of the fluid coupling fan
Torque: 21 N*m (214 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf)

PRECAUTION

AIR INDUCTION SYSTEM
a
Separation of the engine oil dipstick, oil filler cap, PCV hose, etc may cause the engine to be out of
tune
b
Disconnection, looseness or cracks in the parts of the air induction system between the throttle
body and cylinder head will result in air suction and cause the engine to be out of tune
