24. INSTALL RECLINING POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB LH

a. Attach the 2 claws to install the knob.

25. INSTALL SLIDE AND VERTICAL POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB LH

a. Attach the 2 claws to install the knob.

Use the same procedures for the LH side and RH side.



The procedures listed below are for the LH side.

1. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH

a. Install the front seat.

NOTE:

Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

b. Connect the seat wire connectors under the seat.

c. Connect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal.

d. w/ Leg Support Adjustment Switch:

Operate the leg support adjustment switch to move the seat cushion to the closed position.

e. Operate the power seat switch to move the seat to the rearmost position.

f. Install the 2 bolts.

Torque: 37 N*m (377 kgf*cm, 27 ft.*lbf)

g. Operate the power seat switch to move the seat to the foremost position.

h. Install the 2 bolts.

Torque: 37 N*m (377 kgf*cm, 27 ft.*lbf)

NOTE:

Some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected
(see INITIALIZATION ).

2. INSTALL OUTER FRONT SEAT TRACK COVER LH REAR

a. Attach the 2 claws to install the seat track cover.

3. INSTALL INNER FRONT SEAT TRACK COVER LH REAR

4. INSTALL FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY LH

5. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT

a. Check the SRS warning light (see DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM ).

6. INSPECT FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY

a. Check the power seat operation (see OPERATION CHECK ).

b. w/ Seat Heater System:

Check the seat heater operation.

1. Turn the ignition switch ON.

2. When the seat heater switch is turned ON, check that the indicator light illuminates, and that

the seat surface warms up in approximately 5 minutes.

3. When the seat heater switch's volume switch is operated, check that the seat surface

temperature changes.
