D: REPLACE FRONT SEATBACK ASSEMBLY RH (See FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (FOR
FOLD DOWN SEAT TYPE)
)

A: Go to next step

2. CHECK NO. 2 FLOOR WIRE (SIDE SQUIB RH CIRCUIT)

a. Turn the ignition switch OFF.

b. Disconnect the negative (-) terminal cable from the battery, and wait for at least 90 seconds.

c. Disconnect SST from connector C.

d. Disconnect the connectors from the center airbag sensor.

e. Connect the negative (-) terminal cable to the battery, and wait for at least 2 seconds.

f. Turn the ignition switch ON.

g. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard voltage

h. Turn the ignition switch OFF.

i. Disconnect the negative (-) terminal cable from the battery, and wait for at least 90 seconds.

j. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance

k. Release the activation prevention mechanism built into connector B (see DIAGNOSIS

SYSTEM ).

l. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

NG: REPLACE NO. 2 FLOOR WIRE

OK: Go to next step

3. CHECK CENTER AIRBAG SENSOR

a. Connect the connectors to the front seat side airbag RH and the center airbag sensor.

b. Connect the negative (-) terminal cable to the battery, and wait for at least 2 seconds.

c. Turn the ignition switch ON, and wait for at least 60 seconds.

d. Clear the DTCs (see DTC CHECK/CLEAR ).

e. Turn the ignition switch OFF.

f. Turn the ignition switch ON, and wait for at least 60 seconds.

g. Check for DTCs (see DTC CHECK/CLEAR ).

DESCRIPTION

The curtain shield squib LH circuit consists of the center airbag sensor and the curtain shield airbag LH.

The circuit instructs the SRS to deploy when the deployment conditions are met.

These DTCs are recorded when a malfunction is detected in the curtain shield squib LH circuit.
