7. CHECK IGNITION SWITCH (POWER SOURCE)
a. Disconnect the J9 ignition switch connector.
b. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard voltage
STANDARD VOLTAGE SPECIFICATION

NG : REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR (IGNITION SWITCH - BATTERY
POSITIVE TERMINAL)
OK : Go to Next Step
8. INSPECT IGNITION SWITCH
a. Inspect the ignition switch. (See INSPECTION ).
NG : REPLACE IGNITION SWITCH . (See IGNITION SWITCH ).
OK : Go to Next Step
9. INSPECT PARK/ NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH (POWER SOURCE)
a. Disconnect the D35 PNP switch connector.
b. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

OK : Go to Next Step
10. INSPECT PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH
a. Inspect the Park/Neutral Position (PNP) switch.
1. Disconnect the D35 PNP switch connector.
2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

11. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (IGNITION SWITCH - ECM)
a. Disconnect the J9 ignition switch connector.
b. Disconnect the A24 ECM connector.
c. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

12. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (PNP SWITCH - ECM)
a. Disconnect the D35 PNP switch connector.
b. Disconnect the D74 ECM connector.
c. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
