4. CHECK SLIDING ROOF DRIVE GEAR SUB-ASSEMBLY (SLIDING ROOF ECU)

a. Disconnect the W3 ECU connector.

b. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

DTC CHECK / CLEAR

HINT:

Refer to the Techstream operator's manual for further details.

1. CHECK DTC

a. Warm up the engine.

b. Turn the ignition switch OFF.

c. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

d. Turn the ignition switch ON.

e. Turn the tester on.

f. Enter the following menus:

Select: Body Electrical / Main Body / Trouble Codes.

g. Read the DTCs by following the directions on the tester's screen.

2. CLEAR DTC

a. Warm up the engine.

b. Turn the ignition switch OFF.

c. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

d. Turn the ignition switch ON.

e. Turn the tester on.

f. Enter the following menus:

Select: Body Electrical / Main Body / Trouble Codes.

g. Erase the DTCs by following the directions on the tester's screen.

DATA LIST / ACTIVE TEST

1. READ DATA LIST

HINT:

Using the Techstream to read the Data List allows values or states of switches, sensors, actuators and
other items to be read without removing any parts. This non-intrusive inspection can be very useful
because intermittent conditions or signals may be discovered before parts or wiring is disturbed. Reading
the Data List information early in troubleshooting is one way to save diagnostic time.

NOTE:

In the table below, the values listed under "Normal Condition" are
reference values. Do not depend solely on these reference values when

g. According to the display on tester, read the "Data List".
