containing anti-freeze should be used in very
cold weather (below-freezing temperatures).
Fill washer fluid into the reservoir with the
blue cover. The reservoir is used for both the
windshield washer and the headlight washer

The maximum trailer weights listed are
only applicable for altitudes up to
3280 ft (1,000 m) above sea level.
With increasing altitude the engine
power and therefore the car's climbing
ability are impaired because of the
reduced air density, so the maximum
trailer weight has to be reduced
accordingly. The weight of the car and
trailer must be reduced by 10% for
every further 3280 ft (1,000 m) (or
part thereof).

Engine oil specifications
Engine oil of type VCC RBS0-2AE 0W-20
must be used. Lower oil grades may not offer
the same fuel economy, engine performance
or engine protection.
Volvo recommends:
General
See the Service and warranty booklet for infor-
mation about oil change intervals.
This vehicle is delivered from the factory
with synthetic oil.
Do not use oil additives.
Oil viscosity
The wrong oil viscosity can shorten engine
service life during normal use.
VCC RBS0-2AE 0W-20 provides good fuel
economy and engine protection. See the vis-
cosity chart.
