WARNING: When releasing the cooling system pressure, cover the coolant expansion

tank cap with a thick cloth.

Fluid container

2. Release the cooling system pressure by slowly

turning the coolant expansion tank cap between
2 and 3 turns.

WARNING: Be prepared to collect

escaping fluid.

Filling

CAUTION: The fluid level must remain between the MAX and MIN marks.

Bleeding

Use a suitable coolant hose to drain the coolant.

General Equipment:

9. Lower the vehicle.

1. Switch the interior heater blower off.

2. Fill the coolant expansion tank coolant level to

the neck of the coolant expansion tank.

1. Start the engine.

2. Raise the engine speed to 2500 RPM and

maintain it for 1 minute.

3. Check the coolant expansion tank coolant level.

4. If the coolant expansion tank coolant level has

fallen below the MIN mark, stop the engine and
refill the coolant expansion tank level to the neck
of the coolant expansion tank.

5. Install the coolant expansion tank cap.

6. Start the engine if stopped.

7. Raise the engine speed to 2500 RPM and

maintain it for approximately 11 minutes while
observing the coolant expansion tank coolant
level.

8. Maintain the engine speed at 2500 RPM for a

further 3 minutes.

9. Increase the engine speed to 4000 RPM and

maintain it for 5 seconds.

10. Decrease the engine speed to 2500 RPM and

maintain it for 3 minutes.

11. Switch the engine off.

12. Check the cooling system for leaks.
