Lowering the Head Restraint
1.
Press and hold button C.
2. Push the head restraint down.
Removing the Head Restraint
1.
Pull the head restraint up until it
reaches its highest position.
2. Press and hold buttons C and D.
3. Pull the head restraint up.
Installing the Head Restraint
Align the steel stems into the guide sleeves
and push the head restraint down until it
locks.
Third Row Head Restraints
The third row head restraints are
non-adjustable, but you can fold them.

The head restraints consist of:
•
A trimmed energy absorbing foam and
structure.
•
A fold button.
Folding the Head Restraint
1.
Press the button to fold the head
restraint.
2. Pull the head restraint up to place it
back in the upright position.
Power Rear Head Restraints (If
Equipped)
The third row outermost head restraints
are fixed and cannot be removed.

Press the button on the head restraint or
the button on the liftgate to fold the third
row outermost head restraints. Pull the
head restraint up to place it in the upright
position.
Note:
These head restraints fold when you
press the fold flat button.
MANUAL SEATS
(If Equipped)
WARNINGS
Do not adjust the driver seat or seat
backrest when your vehicle is
moving. This may result in sudden
seat movement, causing the loss of control
of your vehicle.
Make sure the seat fully locks into
place by rocking it backward and
forward. Not securing the seat into
the locked position can be dangerous in a
crash and could cause serious personal
injury or death.

Recline Adjustment
(If Equipped)
WARNING
Do not place cargo or any objects
behind the seat backrest before
returning it to the original position.
Pull on the seat backrest to make sure that
it has fully latched after returning the seat
backrest to its original position. An
unlatched seat may become dangerous if
you stop suddenly or have a crash.

The lumbar support control is on the
outboard side of the seat. Turn the control
to adjust your support.

The massage system turns off after
20 minutes.

The engine must be running or the
vehicle must be in accessory mode to
activate the seats.
Note:
Allow a few seconds for any selection
to activate. When the seatback and cushion
are both active, the massage will alternate
between zones

The massage feature defaults to an
alternating massage mode with back
massage intensity adjustment. The lumbar
and bolster feature defaults to the middle
lumbar mode.

Press C a second time to adjust the back
bolster. Press C a third time to adjust the
cushion bolster.
You can also adjust this feature through
the touchscreen. When switched on, the
system displays directions for you to adjust
the lumbar settings in your seat or to set
the massage function. To access and make
adjustments to the lumbar setting:
1.
Press the Menu Settings icon > Vehicle
> Multi-contour Seat.
2. Choose the desired seat to adjust.
3. Press the + or - to adjust the lumbar
intensity.
To access and make adjustments to the
massage setting:
1.
Press the Menu Settings icon > Vehicle
>Multi-contour Seat.
2. Choose the desired seat to adjust.
3. Press Off, Low or High.
MEMORY FUNCTION
(If Equipped)
WARNINGS
Before activating the memory seat,
make sure that the area immediately
surrounding the seat is clear of
obstructions and that all occupants are
clear of moving parts.
Do not use the memory function
when your vehicle is moving.
This feature automatically recalls the
position of the following:
•
Driver seat.
•
Power mirrors.
•
Optional power adjustable foot pedals.
•
Optional power adjustable steering
column.
The memory control is on the driver door.
