Removing and Replacing the Tire
1.
Find the jacking location near the door of
the tire that you are changing. Position the
jack and turn the handle of the jack
clockwise until the wheel is completely off
the ground.
WARNING
To lessen the risk of personal injury, do
not put any part of your body under the
vehicle while changing a tire. Do not start
the engine when your vehicle is on the
jack. The jack is only meant for changing
the tire.

Replace the wheel lug bolts, but do not fully
tighten them until you lower the vehicle. If
you do, you could force the vehicle off the

Remove the retaining tool and replace it
with the final lug bolt.
Your vehicle is built with metric (12 mm)
threads on the wheel hubs and lug bolts. Make
certain, during wheel removal, the same bolts
removed are reinstalled, or if replaced, bolts
with metric threads and the same chamfer
configuration are used.
