FUEL SYSTEM
Refer to appropriate SELF-DIAGNOSTICS article .
GENERAL PROCEDURES
DRAINING - COALESCER/FILTER
1. Perform the fuel line venting procedure; refer to FUEL LINE EVACUATION .
2. Place a container under the coalescer/filter assembly.
NOTE:
Hold the coalescer body with a wrench on the flats, to prevent loosening
of the filter housing.

3. Slowly loosen the coalescer/filter assembly drain plug, to vent the system of any residual fuel pressure.
4. Remove the coalescer/filter assembly drain plug and allow all liquid to drain.
5. Install the coalescer/filter assembly drain plug and tighten to specifications.

6. Perform the fuel system leak test procedure; refer to FUEL SYSTEM LEAK TEST .
