4. Remove the condenser to evaporator line.

5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Install new O-ring seals lubricated in clean PAG oil.
z
Lubricate the refrigerant system with the correct amount of clean PAG oil. Refer to CLIMATE
CONTROL SYSTEM .
6. Evacuate, leak test and charge the refrigerant system. Refer to CLIMATE CONTROL SYSTEM .

Removal and Installation
1. Remove the battery and the battery tray. Refer to BATTERY TRAY
2. Recover the refrigerant. Refer to CLIMATE CONTROL SYSTEM .
3. Disconnect the condenser to evaporator line spring lock coupling from the A/C evaporate] core (19860).

Discard the O-ring seals.

4. Disconnect the condenser lower fitting.

Discard the O-ring seal.
NOTE:
Use a backup wrench to hold the line during disconnection to prevent
damage to the condenser to evaporator line.
