Battery Disconnect and Connect

Disconnection

WARNING: The supplemental restraint
system (SRS) is active for a certain length
of time after the power supply has been
disconnected. Wait for a minimum of 3
minutes before disconnecting or removing
any SRS components.

and Safety Precautions (100-00 General
Information, Description and Operation).

2. Obtain and record the audio unit keycode and

preset radio frequencies.

4. Torque: 15 Nm

5. Enter the audio unit keycode and preset radio

frequencies.

6. Reset the clock to the correct time.

7. Start and run the engine at idle for three

minutes.

8. When the engine reaches normal operating

temperature, increase the engine speed to 1200
rpm and maintain for approximately 2 minutes.

9. Drive the vehicle for approximately five

miles/eight kilometers of varied driving.
