Learning control system:
As the optimal gear-shifting timing changes
depending on driving behaviors, driving
ability and differences between various
drivers, INVECS-II is equipped with one
learning control system.
According to the output power of the engine,
operation of
wheel load and the
system makes an assessment of the driver’s
driving mode.
The learning control system modifies the
gear-shifting timing according to the
assessment results to best suit the drivin
behaviors and habits of the driver.
It is easy to shift to high-speed gear while
the automobile is traveling at a low speed;
and it feels good and exciting to shift to
high-speed gear while the automobile is
traveling at a high speed.
If the driver frequently steps on the brak
pedal on a downgrade, the computer will
shift it to low-speed gear in a timely man
to provide for engine braking.

Feedback control:
During each gear shifting, the feedback
control function will regulate the hydraulic
pressure so that the rotation speed changes
of gearbox input shaft complies with the
target mode. This function can provide the
optimal driving axle torque changes and
increase gear-shifting quality.
Learning control:
The learning control function can adjust the
oil pressure to realize the optimal gear-
shifting result according to previous gear-
shifting experience.
The ECU and A/T-ECU of the
transmits and receives necessary data for
control. These data are transmitted and
received through serial communication
