Will the troubleshooting procedure be
implemented?

To Step 2

Troubleshooting
procedure

2

Turn off the ignition switch, unfix
Terminal B of control solenoid valve and
turn on the ignition switch but do not turn
on the engine, measure if there is a 12V
power supply to the fuse.

To Step 4

To Step 3

3

Check if the circuit between the fuse and
the control solenoid valve suffers any of
the following:
Ground fault (Ω stage)
Open circuit (Ω stage)
Short circuit with the power source
(anode): (voltage stage)

Confirm
repair

4

Check if the resistance of the solenoid
valve is 5-50 Ω.

To Step 5

To Step 6

5

Turn off the ignition switch, unfix the
ECM terminal and check if the circuit
between the ECM and the control
solenoid valve suffers any of the
following:
Ground fault (Ω stage)
Open circuit (Ω stage)
Short circuit with the power source
(anode): (voltage stage)

Confirm
repair

To Step 7

6

Replace the control solenoid valve and
confirm the repair.

7

Replace the engine control module and
confirm the repair.
