Check the resistance between Pin 1 and Pin 2 of
carbon canister control valve with a multimeter to
see if it is between 17.5-23.5Ω at 20℃.

No

control valve connector and cathode of power
supply with a multimeter to see if it is around 3.7V.

to see if short circuit to ground occurs.

Unplug carbon canister control valve connector
from wire harness, check the voltage between Pin 1
of connector and cathode of power supply with a
multimeter to see if it is around 12V.

No

Go to next step

Yes

Repair or
replace wire

Check power supply terminal wiring of carbon
canister control valve to see if open circuit or short
circuit to ground occurs.

No

Go to Step 2

Check the resistance between Pin 1 and Pin 2 of
carbon canister control valve with a multimeter to
see if it is between 22-30Ω at 20℃.

No

Replace

supply with a multimeter to see if it is around 3.7V.

respectively the resistances between Pin A and Pin
D, Pin B and Pin C of the regulator with a
multimeter too see if they are around 53Ω at 20℃.
