Assembling procedure

4.3.5 Slide a new glass plate into mechanism group with

both sides being parallel.

4.3.6 Fix glass plate fixing pin and turn it to a 90º

position.

4.3.7 Push the fixing pin to its position.

4.4.2 Detach the glass plate lock pin from fixed driving

base with a screwdriver as shown in the figure,

then take off lock pin (the same with the other

side).

4.4.3 Turn the glass plate fixing pin clockwise to a 90º

position with a minus screwdriver and take it off

(the same with the other side).

4.4.4 Carefully pull the glass plate out of mechanism

group with both sides being parallel.

4.4.5 Take off the worn rubber sealing strip from the

middle part of front end of sunroof frame with a

minus screwdriver.

4.4.6 Remove the residual sealant and clean the slot.

Assembling procedure

4.4.7 Apply a layer of silica gel with diameter of 3mm on

the edge of upper frame, and apply two layers

under glass plate holding piece.

4.4.8 Place the new rubber sealing strip on the upper

frame with the concaved center of sealing strip

aligned with the center of glass plate holding piece.

Carefully stretch this part of sealing strip when

installing.

4.4.9 Push the sealing strip 1mm into the slot in such

order: middle front, both sides, then rear. Note: do

not stretch rubber sealing strip.

4.4.10 Fully push the sealing strip into the slot. Make

sure the sealing strip is installed in position.

Slide the glass plate into mechanism group with

both sides being parallel.

4.4.12

Fix glass plate fixing pin and turn it to a 90º

position.

4.4.13 Push glass plate locking pin into place.
