CAUTION: Booster damage may occur if the pedal pull exceeds 20 lbs.
TAIL LAMPS
REMOVAL
The stop (1), turn signal (2), and back-up (3) bulbs are
incorporated into the tail lamp unit.
1. Remove the tail lamp unit (3) (Refer to 8 - ELEC-
TRICAL/LAMPS/LIGHTING
-
EXTERIOR/TAIL
LAMP - REMOVAL).

2. Compress both retaining tabs (1) on the bulb
socket and pull straight out.
3. Remove the bulb (1) from the socket (2).

INSTALLATION
CAUTION: Always use the correct bulb size and
type for replacement. An incorrect bulb size or
type may overheat and cause damage to the lamp,
the socket and/or the lamp wiring. Do not touch
the bulb glass with fingers or other oily surfaces.
Reduced bulb life will result.
1. Position the bulb (1) in the socket (2) and push into
place.
2. Position the bulb socket in the tail lamp unit and
push firmly into place until the retaining tabs (1) are
fully engaged.

3. Install the tail lamp assembly (3) (Refer to 8 -
ELECTRICAL/LAMPS/LIGHTING

TAIL LAMP UNIT
REMOVAL
1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
2. Open liftgate and remove the two screws (1)
attaching the lamp to the body.
