No. 158 Shaking startup

Malfunction Causes

Solution

Inner end of releasing lever not within the

same plane

1. Get off the vehicle and check flywheel,
flywheel casing, transmission connection is
loosening, engine support is fixed, bolt is
loosening? If loosening, fasten it; 2. check
pressing spring or circlip of release bearing is
broken; replace it;

Driven disk or clutch plate deformed or
warped; end face of flywheel severely
jumps

1. Check if any large abrasion sound is heard
during rotation, even rotating resistance is
larger?
2. A. Check cushion sheet on clutch plate is
broken, damping spring is fatigue or broken; B.
friction rivet on clutch plate is loosening;
Repair or replace it if malfunctions exist.

When the vehicle starts at low
speed, release clutch gradually
according to operation rules, and
slowly step down accelerator
pedal. Clutch could not jointed
stably and cause shaking, even
buffeting to whole vehicle.

Friction disk of driven disk with uneven
depth, oil sludge, scorching, uneven
surface, hardened surface, exposed rivet
head, loosening or broken rivet

Check driven disk is with uneven depth, oil
sludge, scorching, uneven surface, hardened
surface, exposed rivet head, loosening or
broken rivet
Replace it if exist.

Malfunction Causes

Solution

(1) Clutch pedal has too large free stroke, diaphragm spring
force fully or partially acting on operation mechanism, making
driven disk unable to well separated with flywheel and clutch
plate;

Adjust free stroke of clutch;

(2) Clutch housing or transmission housing loosening

Fasten loosening parts;

(3) Rivet on driven disk loosening or driven disk too thick;

Clinch or replace driven disk;

(4) Driven friction disk, clutch plate and flywheel’s working face
warped, deformed;

Replace warped driven disk, clutch plate
or flywheel;

(5) Spring annealing, diaphragm spring fatigue, with uneven
and insufficient elastica, or broken;

Replace clutch plate assembly;

(6) Fixed screws for clutch plate and flywheel loosening;

Fasten bolt;

Malfunction: while
startup, clutch
could not be
jointed stably,
causing shaking.

(7) Space between release bearing sleeve and its guide pipe
with oil sludge, dust or blocked, unable to return;

Clean guide pipe;
