Engine operates with unavailable cylinder

Check cylinder pressure, spark plug, ignition wire and
valve etc., whether they are abnormal. Replace the
malfunction part when necessary.

No. 013 Engine noise over normal level

Malfunction Cause

Solution

Exhaust system leaking or block

Maintain leaking components, as well as replace blocking parts.

Poor fuel quality, which results engine
operating abnormal

Replace qualified fuel that match Geely vehicle requirement.

Engine operates abnormal

When engine operating with unavailable cylinder, the malfunction
shall be excluded. When camshaft assembly and gear sound
abnormally, shall adjust or replace them. As well as the crankshaft
and piston link mechanism.

Generator water pump, booster pump
etc. sound abnormally

Replace generator, water pump and booster pump assembly.

Water tank fan and AC fan sound
abnormally

Replace relevant components.

Water temperature over normal value

Maintain fan and cooling system, whether they operate normally.

Ignition timing maladjustment

Maintain or adjust ignition timing.

Compressing ratio over normal value

Maintain cylinder capacity, combustion chamber volume, as well as
the end surface of cylinder block and cylinder head, whether they
are normal.

Detonation sensor malfunction

Maintain mounting condition of sensor and correct the voltage.

Poor lubrication

Check oil pressure and quality.

Engine interferences with relevant
accessories

Maintain and exclude the malfunction.
