The following connectors are standard in all
three cab types:
1.
Black connector with wires 1264 and 3482
for alarm/immobiliser LED (if NO alarm
system is fitted).
2.
Connector B026 (1108 and M) for the
12V connector for audio equipment (for
example CB transmitter).
3.
Connector no. 597 for 12-pin connector
with various signals.

1.9 40 A CONNECTOR
If current strengths of up to 40A are required, a
wiring harness should be made according to the
accompanying diagram. The necessary relay
and fuses must also be added that may not be
fitted to the printed circuit board. Wires must
have a diameter of at least 6 mm

The wiring harness should be connected to the
40A connector. This connector (A) is a 2-pin
connector. The supply voltage for this connector
is branched from the power supply before
contact via fuse E168. This fuse is fitted as
standard in a fuse holder on the edge of the
central PCB.

1.10 CONNECTOR FOR 12V CONNECTION IN ROOF CONSOLE
In the roof console is a white 2-pin connector
(B026). This is intended for connecting a CB set.
This connector has the following wires: 1108 and
earth.

1.11 CONNECTOR FOR ALARM/IMMOBILISER LED IN ROOF CONSOLE
In the roof console is a black 2-pin connector
(A). This is for connecting an LED alarm.
This LED alarm is fitted as standard if the
vehicle does not have an alarm system.
This connector has the following wires: 1264
and 3482.

1.12 CONNECTOR FOR COOLER BOX
The wiring for the cooler box has been fitted as
standard ready for use behind the door pillar
trim (connector no. 618) on the co-driver’s side.
This connector consists of the following wires:
1154 and M.
The cooler box (if present) is connected here to
the connector on the co-driver’s side.
The lighting for the tool compartment is
connected here to the connector on the
co-driver’s side.
NOTE:
The power supply before contact is
fuse-protected via fuse E142 (25 A).
The power supply for the
superstructure functions dashboard
lead-through connector (if present) is
also via these fuses.

1.13 CONNECTORS FOR CONNECTING THE RADIO
Radio connection
Behind the radio panel there is a connector
(connector no. 424) (to ISO-standard) for the
radio connection; this connector is provided with
a power supply before contact of 12 V/10 A
(20 A) (1108) and earth. The wiring to the door,
A pillar and rear wall for the loudspeakers
(connector 425) has also been fitted as standard
ready for use. If tweeters are fitted, a separating
filter should be fitted.

DISPLAY LIGHTING DIMMING
Philips and Grundig radios
If the radio has display lighting (search lighting),
it can switch on at the same time as the vehicle
lights are switched on. The display lighting can
be dimmed by connecting relay G231 in
accordance with the diagram.
Relay G231 should be connected to search
lighting wire 2630.
