CAUTION

After checking the neutral switch, operate the
tailgate latch as follows to install it. This avoids
damage to the tailgate latch switch.

1. Connect the positive battery terminal to the

tailgate latch terminal No.1, and the negative
battery terminal to the tailgate latch terminal
No.9 for approximately one second.

2. Connect the positive battery terminal to the

tailgate latch terminal No.9, and the negative
battery terminal to the tailgate latch terminal
No.1 for approximately one second.
