intermediate connector terminal No.2,
therefore, repair it.Then go to Step 11.
STEP 9. Voltage measurement at C-114 stop lamp
switch connector.
(1) Disconnect the A-01 ABS-ECU connector, C-114
stop lamp switch connector, F-02 rear
combination lamp (stop: RH) connector (with rear
body), F-19 rear combination lamp (stop: RH)
connector (without rear body), F-03 high mounted
stop lamp connector, F-04 rear combination lamp
(stop: LH) connector (with rear body), F-22 rear
combination lamp (stop: LH) connector (without
rear body), and measure the voltage at C-114
stop lamp switch connector harness side.

CAUTION
• If there is any problem in the CAN bus lines,
an incorrect diagnosis code may be set. Prior
to this diagnosis, diagnose the CAN bus lines
(Refer to GROUP 54C
− CAN Bus Diagnostics
Table .).
• Before replacing the ECU, ensure that the
communication circuit is normal.
OPERATION
The G-sensor detects the acceleration level in the
forward/reverse direction of the vehicle, converts the
signals into voltage signals and then sends that sig-
nal to the ABS-ECU.
DIAGNOSIS CODE SET CONDITION
This diagnosis code will be set when G-sensor power
supply voltage continues to be 4.4 V or lower, or 5.6
V or higher.
PROBABLE CAUSES
The most likely causes for these diagnosis codes to
set are:
• Damaged wiring harness or connector
• Malfunction of the G-sensor
• Malfunction of the ABS-ECU
