STEP 7. Check connector D-132 at PCM for damage.
Q: Is the connector in good condition?

YES : Go to Step 8.
NO : Repair or replace it. Refer to GROUP 00E, Harness

Connector Inspection

. Then go to Step 12.

STEP 8. Check for open circuit and short circuit to ground
between evaporative emission ventilation solenoid
connector G-27 (terminal No. 1) and PCM connector D-132
(terminal No. 11).

NOTE: Check harness after checking intermediate connectors
F-10, D-112 and E-113. If intermediate connectors are dam-
aged, repair or replace them. Refer to GROUP 00E, Harness
Connector Inspection

Q: Is the harness wire in good condition?

YES : Replace the PCM. Then go to Step 12.
NO : Repair it. Then go to Step 12.

STEP 9. Check connector D-132 at PCM for damage.
Q: Is the connector in good condition?

YES : Go to Step 10.
NO : Repair or replace it. Refer to GROUP 00E, Harness

Connector Inspection

. Then go to Step 12.

STEP 10. Check for harness damage between MFI relay
connector B-22X (terminal No. 1) and evaporative emission
ventilation solenoid connector G-27 (terminal No. 2).

damaged, repair or replace them. Refer to GROUP 00E, Har-

STEP 11. Check for harness damage between evaporative
emission ventilation solenoid connector G-27 (terminal No.
1) and PCM connector D-132 (terminal No. 11).

aged, repair or replace them. Refer to GROUP 00E, Harness

STEP 12. Test the OBD-II drive cycle.

(2) Check the diagnostic trouble code (DTC).
Q: Is DTC P0446 set?

YES : Retry the troubleshooting.
NO : The inspection is complete.
